Myofascial and chiropractic treatment of hip and lumbar pain relaxing ASMR
Monika has a right-sided lumbar and hip pain. Seated flexion reveals some resistance to movement in the right lumbar segments, but they are able to move with a little encouragement. Motion palpation of the sacroiliac joints reveals right sided restriction, while motion palpation of the lumbars was clear of restriction.
Anytime there is SI dysfunction, we check the hip as well. Rotation of the hip felt easy and smooth but the right glut max was restricted and adhesive.
Mindful of the connection between the glut max, ipsilateral IT band and contralateral thoracolumbar fascia, we mobilized and released the right glut max and related fascia, and this comprised most of the treatment.
The superficial fascia is so important and needs to be addressed, so we try to remember to work through each layer of fascia and not go straight for the muscle.
Tissue tone and textural assessment is demonstrated.
Adhesions on the iliac crest were found on the external oblique attachment.

This gentleman really has a voice for ASMR and instruction. Reminds me of the OG, Lita.
The color blue was the main character of this video 👌💕😄

True!
there’s something so comforting about him asking her to ‘lift your tummy’ in the middle of an incredibly complicated explanation.

This doc is so relaxing I’m laying in bed and my sciatic nerve pain is relaxing. Probably psychosomatic, but hey whatever works

Absolutement!
Thinking of asking my wife “ay girl what that sacral fascia do” lol All jokes asides, I need to deep stretch my glutes and pop my SI joint on both sides daily to avoid pain.
Can I do trigger point dry needling once a day continuously? Can I have a trigger point massage multiple times a day?

The standard protocol would only be daily treatment at first, and only for up to 5 days before spacing the treatment out. If daily treatment is needed longer than that, one has to look into deeper causes
If I come over from jolly old England, will you do a treatment video on me? 😉😉
