Hey Glen !I love your new Bonehead approved logo! Can you let me know what your new mini swages are gonna run? I love the one with the small step on it!

Hi Steven, Thanks for your generous donation. As usual, I'll recognize you for this in an upcoming blacksmithing video. And I'll email you about the small multi-use swage block. 😬
If there is a person who took the science and art of blacksmithing and advanced it into more modern techniques, it is Glen.
GS Tongs, always in evolution!! I like how that development was showcased in todays post. Great job Glen!

Nothing ground breaking but this is working well for me. Thanks for all Craig.
In a few years, everyone will be using your swage block idea! Thanks for sharing it, it makes tons of sense to me. The versatility is obvious, but only you thought of how to do it. Congratulations!

The tool itself is nothing revolutionary but I really like being able to change the hardy shank's position. Thanks Bryson.
Couldn’t help but grin when the Stubby came on-screen, love mine!

Hi James, I use my stubby hammer daily. It's not the hardest hammer being 1045 and the way I use it, it needs dressing every now and then. But the "softness" of this hammer has seemingly saved my arm some wear and tear. I may discontinue selling this - glad you like yours. Thanks for all.
Cool Tool, Glen.

You won't have to wait long as I will likely post a tong making video next. And use my small swage block in that video as well. Thanks.

Hi Mike, yeah, I'm already using this a lot. Might not be for everyone as they might prefer a larger swage block like the one you reviewed a while back but this is working out well for me. Thanks for all.

Hi and thanks for watching. It's my pleasure.
Where do you have your touchmarks made? I love those and would love to have one.
Love the bonehead

Glad you like my bonehead! Thanks for watching.
Nice, informative video as always Glen. I like your "bonehead approved" touchmark. Tell me, do you forge those multi-use swage blocks or do you get the machinist to mill them out? I think forging them would be somewhat time-consuming.... 😁
@gstongs
Жыл бұрын
Hi Tony, I had a machinist mill these small swage blocks. Forging this (for me), while not impossible, would take forever and not be nearly as accurate. I'm happy with my Bonehead Approved mark but I think the size needs altering. Thanks.
Toblerone grips on the ends of your tongs?
