Thanks for sharing the breaking in of your new swage block, it has given me some ideas on how to use one. My swage block came at the best price, free, from the Art Department at the school I work at. It used to be used as a door stop for the 3D classroom, a bloody heavy one at that.

I’ve got an old and very large swage, a small one from FireAnt, and a block from Bruce Beamish. Each has its particular use. But I’ll be getting more gear from Bruce. Good bloke to deal with and fair prices for good equipment and tools. Thanks for your video it was great

Nice little swage block. It's good to see your daughter showing interest. Boy you worked that block over. Getting some good use out of it. That's the way it should be, working all sides ends everything

I know what you mean about size. The Fireant ones are indeed smaller (I have one), but still more than useful. What mine is lacking is V impressions, and frankly if Bruce's were available when I bought mine, I'd probably have gone for that instead, although the Fireant has some smaller half circle depressions which are really handy for the work I do.
