Story 1. NTA. She abandoned those kids. I'm glad you warned the adoptive parents. DO NOT tell her where the kids are. Tell her you don't know. Hide any evidence that you are in touch with them. If I was the adoptive parents I would take the kids and disappear. Hopefully the adoption agency won't give her any info on the kids. If she pushes it the sister and boyfriend could be arrested for child abandonment.

Are you stupid? They're not OP's kids. It's not their responsibility to raise them. OP didn't WANT to raise kids or adopt, the bio mom chose to have kids and never communicated anything. OP is NOT the asshole, they did everything they needed to keep their life in order

OP isn't the AH at all, neither they nor their aunt were equipped to handle two young children who had been abandoned. They chose the right option.
