Wow that’s crazy, I live in Middleburg a short ways away from where this was. Philomont FD still has theirs, though the volunteer calls are now all digital. I did get to hear it one night - I’ll never forget that!

@@theray2009 That was scrapped. I talked to the Fulton techs a week ago when they were doing annual maintenance on Oswego's T-128s. I was told by one of them that he did everything he could to try and save that siren. That being said, sure it was rare, but it was confirmed to be damaged beyond repair. I commend them for their ability to maintain it for so long.

@@YourAverageMODude145I think he was on the topic of 'was at least a small part saved', kind of like a souvenir of some sort, if the chopper survived then it would've probably acted as a souvenir since it seized up after all those years, same goes with the belt of the blower.
