Loren, girl I got you. It took me forever to get the matcha flavor down. Add a splash of vanilla sweetener or some sort of sweetener to allow the matcha flavor to be extracted instead of just milk. Let me know if that helps! To be specific, I usually use oat milk and the vanilla flavored oat milk with two Splenda packets and matcha!

I was in a similar situation as yourself where I was engaged, and when it ended I was in a bad place, even though it was a good thing that it ended. About the matcha, Loren. The powder is so sensitive. Sometimes it can even be the temperature of the water. You can easily burn the matcha and alter the taste. And milk and matcha ratio is usually up to your own taste buds.

I find it really refreshing that you chose to keep certain things private and not just put everything out straight away and reveal everything, the way you have done it makes it more special too - when ppl complain that they don't see enough or know enough is immature off-putting, and nosy 😆 especially when it's your vlog lol also quite ridic when a lot of youtubers don't post their spouses ever because its their decision and respect their privacy! I love using Jade Leaf matcha! It is powdered so you don't have to whisk it like pure matcha but it tastes exactly like what they serve at coffee shops!

honestly, not the traditional way but so good u should try! put some coconut milk in a blender and whatever amt of matcha u prefer with some maple syrup and blend SO GOOD!

Before using your whisk, Soak the bamboo matcha whisk in warm water to open up the prongs. Try 2tsp of matcha and 1 tbsp of hot water and 3/4 cup of milk with your sweetener of chose.

Add more matcha powder if you prefer a stronger matcha taste. But definitely do not use boiling hot water to whisk the matcha as it scorches it making it bitter. Hope that helps!

I love how you do the Islamic marriage before the legal marriage. It’s very smart and gives you a chance to get to know him before getting quit stuck together. It’s a good way to integrate the two lifestyles without doing haram. Your parents are very kind and accepting instead of controlling and abusive like a lot of Muslim parents in America such as my own. I ended up stuck with an abusive man for 7 years because my parents wouldn’t do anything moderate. I pray you are saved from terrible things like that. It doesn’t work like that. You can’t go around and do nikah if you in your heart think of it as only an engagement. People do nikah when they are 100% sure they are getting married. In Islam there is no «engagement». Either you are married or you are not.

@@Isary96 i agree, i think this is one thing i don't understand how people think it's okay. if you're doing nikkah without the legal marriage then it's not valid. imagine in a muslim country a couple only does nikkah without legal papers? it would be considered wrong and as a sign of lack of commitment from one or both spouses, just because this is a non muslim country it should not be any different. also as far as i know most imams in america only do nikkah when it is legalized but it seems as though there are exceptions. i feel like this is using nikkah as "halal" dating where you can do whatever you want including marital relations without actually committing to a real marriage, and if you get seperated you'll just say it was halal so it's alright 😬

That cabin's so adorable, it looks like such a serene and beautiful area! It reminds me of my great aunt's old vacation home in Tennessee, it was also in the mountains and her husband built it for her. Sadly they sold it a few years ago because they rarely went down south to stay in it.

I use an earl grey matcha from Amazon and it's soo good with maple syrup and oat milk

San Francisco is on the west coast so 3 hours behind east coast. If it's 10am on the east coast, it's 7am on the west coast
