    @@fateemazahra4406 thats not the islamic way normally u should have a third person with them like ur parent or a sibling so nothing happens, or normally the third person is shaytan if they are alone. Even texting in a flirty way is not allowed cuz it can mess with u and ur intention. If your intention is right then u try to do it the halal way which is having a third persona in the room where u can personally know the opposite gender. Mans biggest weakness is woman so anything could go down as shaytan is there so its to protect them both. This applies to everyone so everything happens the right way. Courting is the old fashioned way of dating before physical intimacy was viewed as acceptable. Also, couples who courted did so with marriage as the end goal. Loved hearing your story 😊

  • @lillian5353
    @lillian53533 жыл бұрын

    Although we are of different faiths, I am a Christian, our ideals and values on marriage are exactly the same. I'm not interested at all in short term relationships with "boys" and I personally don't see a point in a trial and error lifestyle. It's a waste of time and I don't have the energy of 2 years of happiness turning into heartbreak, and then me crying for months. I don't have the energy for that. And I also agree on courting, bc as Christians and for me personally, I will also set boundaries. We both have to have the same level of understanding. No physical touching...although that might be the hardest for me bc I'm a touchy person. Not in a sexual sense, but I love hugging and holding hands and cuddling with people dear to me...so that may be difficult 😅

    Lillian Supo Adekola yeahhhhh! I’m a Muslim and I feel like there’s no point of dating if you aren’t sure that you will get married to the person. Like what’s the point lmao. In Islam, there is halal courtship. They mentioned it in the video. It’s getting to know somebody which you could potentially marry. It isn’t dating, its more of having a close friendship with sm1 who is in the list of ppl you might marry. You aren’t aloud to be too touchy but I think ur allowed to hug. (Btw I’m not sure if you can do halal courtship with many ppl).

    This is the kind of dating I want. Clean, pure, honest, mature, respecting boundaries, following Islamic values and morals. Unfortunately, it's difficult to find someone who agrees with me. In wester society, everyone seems wanting a relationship involving physical intimacy and a relationship that doesn't lead to marriage because it has become the norm in society.

  • @TheCurlyFitChicOriginal

    To me, "dating " doesn't include physical touching. Why would I want someone touch me that I'm just now getting to know and determine if they are the one for me? That's weird. Too many people use that word in the wrong way and some people may be in a strictly physical relationship and they call it dating. Crazy.

    I love you guys and your channel. Thank you for all the videos and honest opinions/experiences that you share with us ❤️ P. S. Courting is the correct word; in like the 1800s in England it was custom to “court” each other before getting engaged. The couple would get used to each other, learn about each other, etc. It was not final like an engagement and could be broken at any time with no shame on either person.

I pray you stay happy always❤️

    This way is so much more romantic! Even for non religious people. You get to know eachother and feelings and even tension have time to build!!! ❤ Having boundaries is so much better than jumping into bed on the first date and then setting yaself up for heartbreak - thats a Losing game! Everyone should try this! There is so much wisdom in the way you guys live and it shows in how close you are ❤❤ May Allah bless and protect you.

    This is so true. And one can tell a lot about a man's morals and values by how he's willing to date/court. Usally why it's the best question to ask first. If he's 100% okay with involving the parents early, keeping private meetings to a minimum, and no physical contact and willing to respect your boundaries, he's definitely a man to take into account. But everyone has their own expectations. Definitley worth discussing as early as possible.

    Just want to make it clear if there are teenagers watching :)) Jasmine&Dawoud could ‘date’ like that without a 3rd trustable person with them. But don’t try that if you are a teenager. Have a 3rd trustable family member (preferably) and don’t get in a car. Gives me anxiety of what might happen. Don’t trust too much okaies?

    Hi, I will clear the Inshaa Allah it’s a term that means “ on god’s (Allah) will" it used when you want to do something in the future both near or far it could be a thing you want to do the next hour or tomorrow ect. _Alhamduliallah or alhamdulillah means “thanks god” its used if something good happened or to thank god for saving you from something dangerous like an accident. _mashaa Allah" used when you want to express astonishment or admiration for something, the behave of someone, the beauty of nature ,of people or anything that amaze you it’s literally a prayer to bless that thing, person.....ect.”

Hope that helps you! Salam from Beautiful British Columbia!!!
