I have been LOVING these consistent vlogs 🥰🥰🥰

I think the problem that most Muslims see is that she is saying she’s engaged (when she’s not) but it’s more that she’s been living with him and still saying she’s engaged. There are lots of non-Muslims that also follow her and it can be considered deceptive islamically. Like it’s totally ok to say “engaged” because you guys aren’t living together, but because you guys live and act like you’re married it should be said “married”. There is a connotation that comes with marriage (living together, children). Not with engaged couples. I clearly understand it’s her life, I’m just trying to explain why so many people don’t understand the wording. Because engagement has a definition and marriage has a definition too.

I’m non Muslim and I’m totally confused!!! Why not do the Islamic and legal marriage at the same time??? Does this happen? I was very confused when Amanda had her legal wedding, there didnt appear to be a wedding at all, I thought there would be a wedding ceremony of some kind but there wasnt any just a big party and sounds like Loren is going to do the same. Why the big long gap between the actual Islamic marriage and the wedding party/legal wedding??? Did Leena do the same also?? Please excuse my ignorance but I find the whole situation soo confusing. I’m just trying to understand

@@DerryK67 it’s totally fine! So when I had my nikkah I also signed the legal documents and lived with my parents. My parents wanted me protected by the government in case anything happened (I know it can be a reach but that’s what my parents wanted). On top of that, most masajid (mosques) require the legal documents in order to have the Islamic marriage. I understand the confusion! I don’t think it should be though, it’s suppose to be honest and straightforward. Also I believe Leena and Amanda did the same thing. Because I noticed on travel blogs that Amanda would have her than fiancé along with them. Everyone does things differently I’m just more concerned if this is islamically permissible to not be honest. By saying engaged and it married and they have been living together for months now. Almost like a honeymoon. Just my thoughts!

I totally see the confusion. To add to what has already been said , marriage comes with legeal protection, and there honestly doesn’t need to be a split between the two. “Islamic” marriage is a social contract to be made such that yoy also have all the legal protection. It should be one and the same thing. And thats how it is in most muslim countries anyhow. There is no concept of a “seperate” legal and Islamic marriage. I also think that this separation totally defeats the purpose of a marriage in Islam. Unlike christianity, marriage in Islam is a social contract, one and the same.if there’s no “legal” contract recognised by the state, there is no marriage.

For anyone who is travelling with less money to check in extra bags: you have to pack smart. Rewear the leather pants instead of packing two. Considering you are wearing different accessories and tops, it will look like a whole new outfit. Settle on one versatile coat rather than two for such a short trip! Travel back outfit can be wearing something from one of your previous days as it doesn’t require a super fancy outfit and you are unlikely to get your clothes super dirty in such a short space of time anyway 👍 you don’t really sweat at night so one pair of pyjamas for three nights is more than enough as long as you change underwear and socks.

@@aishaattar3135 I'm just saying that the one that opened here was nothing extraordinary.....I went to Target in the States in and was totally surprised and shocked..... why couldn't they send all that merchandise to Canada.... again I'll say there was nothing there (Canada's Target) that could not be found in Walmart or Superstore. Just telling you what I saw. Also, the shelves were never well stocked up. Anyway, what makes me happy is knowing that Zellers will be coming back. If you live in Canada, you'll know what I am talking about.

It depends which type of alcohol is in the perfume.. it's better to abstain & use 'itr (Islamic perfumes). & women are not allowed to use fragrances when they step outside as they may attract men's attention. They may use deodorants as an alternative.

islamic marriage means “legal marriage” in that very country. therefore, if you are not legally married under that country’s laws (aka you dont have inheritance rights etc) that means you are not islamically married. she is just living with a “stranger” who is not her husband under islamic terms. one shouldnt try to fool the god to have fun..

That not true as an islamic marriage is based on islamic contract and islamic conditions with islamic inheritance rights, not on secular terms. She is absolutely married if she has done her nikah and is "having fun" within her Islamic rights. You should be careful, as insinuating she is unmarried or committing zina (the logical extension of your comment) is slander (a major sin). May Allah forgive us all.
