Wow, amazing Iron Maiden Collection

I just got a couple of Iron Maiden cassette tapes. They’re very cool. I love Iron Maiden!

Perfect!

My favourite Maiden albums are Piece Of Mind and their debut. Sheer brilliance!

Went to see maiden when the topped the bill at monsters of rock donington in 1988, fantastic memories of that event.

I also have Maiden's debut Canadian Press and English reissue!

I used to collect Iron Maiden vinyl and CD's, with over 130 items, but sold them on moving to the Philippines to a collector in Sweden years ago. There is so much to collect by them, and once they did Number of the Beast album, singles started coming in multiple formats, colored, pic disks, shaped pic disks, box sets etc. My favorite was their box set of 12 inch singles. IMO, their best albums were the first two with Paul Dianno. Keep up the spirit of vinyl collecting, it is fun.

Where are you in the Philippines?

The North American versions of the first album & Killers each had a bonus track. Sanctuary on the first and Twilight Zone on Killers. These were added because singles weren’t really released here you had to get them as imports

Great vid mate, marriage and kids saw my collection off years ago, Powerslave would be my fave but that Adrian Smith album is still a classic, hes a very underated musician.

Cool maiden collection. Can’t beat having the album in your hand. Love maiden and have and have an extensive collection of my own. Mostly pic disc or coloured vinyl. Favourite maiden album is “killers”

You didn't say which one sounded better amongst the same copies. That would be interesting for a next video... Thanks. I love Maiden LP's. I've got them from the self-titled until Fear of the Dark. So much good music!

Hey, i still have my Maiden Vinyls. I just counted them. I have over 90 Vinyl-issues, over 80 Cd-releases and 30 Musiccasette-releases. 🤘🏻😄 Makes over 200 Issues! Plus the VHS and DVD-Releases. Looks like I'm a Maiden-Maniac. 😂😂 Maiden are the Best! UP THE IRONS! Greetings from Germany ✌

The Iron Maiden (debut) Canadian press has sanctuary on but UK doesn’t. I bought a first pressing UK for cheap with a few scratches but I’m searching for a mint first pressing of the USA because sanctuary is featured. I think that sanctuary really fits on the album with the other tracks and it’s my favourite album of all time so I want it mint but it’s very costly to get it imported. The other songs of the era such as burning ambition, women in uniform and invasion don’t fit on the album but sanctuary should be on all releases but unfortunately they remastered without it.

Great video and very nice collection of Iron Maiden records! I'd like to have their first two LPs in my collection. Looking forward to your next video. Would be cool if you did a Black Sabbath video if you have a bunch of their records in your collection - they are one of my favourite bands.

I have an OG English press of the debut (it was my mums and I took it when I left home) and is easily my favourite maiden album of all time. Every other album of mine is a re press but honestly I love them all 🤘🏻 great video and great collection!

Yeah dude it’s a great one. It’s interesting to hear the backing vocals on that album, it’s something that Dennis Stratton wanted to do more of but Steve Harris was having none of it! Ahaha

Cool collection. Good luck hunting the others down. You're getting some good bargain prices there, well done. Fairs and shops I go to are starting to get silly. Sad to hear Adrian's Records are closing down. In the '80s they used to advertise vinyl in the Sounds mag. Got several Maiden items from them, 4 Japanese, SiT (deluxe edition) LP, P/slave LP, Aces High 12", Strange Land 12". 2 US, PoM LP pic disc, Can I Play with Madness 7" pic disc and a UK copy of Flight of Icarus 12" pic disc (autographed). Never played any of them, still got them in near mint condition.

@@thevinylhuntersSome big extra juicy carrots for haggling, might help lol. My local shops were useless on imports. Thankfully, Adrian's and Shades (London) would advertise in the magazines. Went Shades in '84, tiny shop but full of rock and metal. Another independent shop that closed down years ago.

Nice collection. I would recommend putting these in polylined inner sleeves as these paper ones can scratch your records and build static causing surface noise.

@@thevinylhunters I have about 700 albums and decided to do that for every album I own. The Spincare archival innersleeves are the ones I use. Cost me about £15,00 for 100 inner sleeves, I use resealable outer sleeves on all my albums as well, the PVC ones you are using I stopped using after learning they can damage the vinyl and sleeves. Might be quite the investment, but worth it in the long run.

Luvleh stuff!! Seventh son is my favourite too!! I’m needing piece of mind, somewhere in time and fear of the dark (I nearly gave in on buying fod for £140) keep up the good work fella. Hope all is well for you and dave in the new year :) (& more absolute steals with the spinny plastic thingy’s)

I'd recommend getting the 2017 remaster on vinyl. Sounds great. I understand the urge to have an original, but at an average Discogs price of £30,00 it's a true bargain.

I recomend to you , 80s , MAIDEN JAPAN, and ACES HIGH maxi single.

Cool Collection! You need a North American pressing of "Killers" Sounds amazing and has the extra track. You also need some Japanese pressings. They all sound the best! Especially "Number of the Beast". It has "Total Eclipse" on it! Get the Italian pressing of "Piece of Mind" It is known as the "Dune" pressing. I think the rarest Iron Maiden album is the BLUE transparent Columbian pressing of Somewhere in Time. I'm still looking for it myself.

They sound awesome! I'm definitely going to be looking out for a US Press of Killers now. Do they need to be 1st issues or can the American and Japanese versions you recommend be any press to sound good?

Hi. Yes, they need to be first press. I believe all the Japanese pressings sound good. They have less bass, but the vinyl is dead quiet. I find that the Japanese and U.K. pressings are the best for me as a collector, but when I put on my USA pressings, they sound great too. I have a first press German copy of Killers and it also sounds incredible! Don't buy a reissue, you will regret it.@@thevinylhunters

You should put all your records in a plastic inner sleeve to keep record from scratching when removing

I have most of them also have all singles pic discs shaped ones some Japanese imports been into maiden since the eighties up the IRONS
