That’s a shit album. Whoever made it - without the bands permission - took four years of live tv appearances and whittled it down to one album. The MTV Unplugged set alone would be an entire album.

Hi Jake, I know you love Vertigo swirls! Wondered if you have ever considered doing a video on albums which were released outside the UK with swirl labels, but not inside? I have a copy of Nazareth's Rampant on a swirl which was released on Mooncrest in the UK for example. Food for thought.

Great video mate, and an impressive collection if i must say so myself. You do have quite a lot of missing albums, but then you do have the best and that's what counts. I first came across Heep when my cousin lent me Demons And Wizards ( their best album ) and have been a fan ever since. I did have first presses of everything they released from 1975 to 1982, sadly they're all gone now, although i do have them on cd. I wish i had the space to collect their stuff on vinyl but sadly i don't so it's CDs for me. I've been collecting the CD digipacs of the early albums but they seem to stop around ' The Magician's Birthday ' I've yet to see Sweet Freedom, Wonderworld, or Uriah Heep Live so don't know if they've ever been released. I actually bought Salisbury last weekend. I was also lucky enough to see them live 3 or 4 times during the mid 70s, I saw them on their Return To Fantasy Tour, the Firefly tour, and their Innocent Victim tour, i last saw them around 2000. I don't know if you have, or have heard Ken Hensley's solo stuff, especially his first two albums 'Proud Words On Dusty Shelf ' and 'Eager To Please' but do yourself a favour and buy them, honestly you won't be disappointed, Proud Words On A Dusty Shelf is nothing short of brilliant, it's then that you'll realise why Uriah Heeps albums with Ken Hensley were classics. Nothing they released after Ken left came close to the albums he helped write.

Try to find the 1973 album ''El Inca'' by Wara, it's a Bolivian heavy progressive rock group, who were influenced by Uriah Heep and Deep Purple. The original is very hard to find, but there's a reissue on vinyl.
