I also started compunded semaglutide a few weeks ago from a compounding pharmacy near me in south Austin. I tolerated it horribly! My doctor, who's an obesity specalist, warned me about using compounding pharmacies for this drug. Thankfully my PA went through so I can go back on Wegovy. Phew! Best wishes.

I'm sorry to hear that it didn't work well for you. I'm not sure why your doctor thinks the compound would have a higher incidence of side effects when they use the same main ingredient. I hope the Wegovy works better for you. ❤️🥰

So good to see you Mindy. You are still inspiring even when you not feeling 100%. That breakfast casserole looked YUMMY! I need to make that! I had a fecal impaction today and it was NOT FUN. I managed to drink water and walk around the house and 6 hours later the Baseball came (like I was giving birth!). OMG did that ever hurt! During it all I almost passed out, I was not happy. Taken about 5 hours now for it to feel bit better. WHY? I have been letting my water intake lag behind for two weeks, opps! Back to 80 oz of water. Hope to see you more. Hang in there. I need to start walking too and we have no sidewalk here so I have to drive to get to some. lol

Ugh... I am so sorry my friend. Impaction is no Bueno and I hate reaping the consequences of my own decisions. It SUCKS. Like... I beat myself up enough mentally when I don't do what I know I should body... you don't need to do it too, okay!?!?!?! Good luck on the Hydration train!!

Thank you for sharing your process. I also don't like injections. My husband taught me to inject people about 23 years ago because he thought it might help me overcome my fear. It helped but injecting myself is a whole other thing! You are so determined!

Hey Yeli, You're amazing... I don't think I could inject someone else unless it was life or death... even then I'd have to probably close my eyes... lol.

I've been on Ozempic for 18 months, and I'm at 1.25 mg. I clicked up on my 2 mg Pen. Always battle nausea, diarrhea, and constipation it's just part of it. I've lost 55 pounds, and my A1C has finally gone down. Yeah. I've got 25 pounds more to go, but I've never dieted, not once. I eat so little that there's never been a need. If I eat sugar, I usually throw it up anyway. Good luck to anyone out there who's on the semaglutides it's ruff, but nothing good is easy.

Hey Debbie, Everyone's experience is different. My 6 months on Wegovy were amazing... I didn't have any nausea or headaches (just mild constipation). I'm certain it's because I did the shot for the first time after skipping two weeks, but only time will tell. 🥰❤️

It works fantastic, especially with the thermometer since I do over cook things. It has also been easier cooking and takes less time - along with being healthier with the air fryer. I am so sorry you are not feeling well. I hope you feel better! I am on week 5 of my Mounjaro journey at 5 mg.

So sorry you are having a difficult time with the med change. Just a reminder that Mounjaro has both the GLP1 and GIP. One of the benefits of the GIP is that it helped mitigate some of the GLP1 gastric side effects. Since the compound does not have the GIP that may be why you are having more side effects. Here is hoping that the side effects are quickly resolved and you are back to your perky self soon!

Hiya, I was actually on Wegovy for 6 months prior to being on Mounjaro and actually had fewer side effects... so I'm hoping that it's just because I went straight to the max dose after not having anything for 2 weeks... but I guess we will just have to wait and see. 🤷‍♀️❤️

Hi neighbor, Lol... I love my hobo gown... even though it's easily 3 sizes too big now... I sometimes struggle with feeling like I don't look different at all (thanks body dysmorphia), and then I look at old pictures and videos, and I'm in shock. I'm sure it will all sink in at some point. 🥰

Glad to see a video. What are you using on your scalp? I assume it’s for hair loss. Since my surgery, and subsequent weight loss (iykyk), my hair is falling out a lot! And I’ve been using minoxidil for over 10 years. Ugh.

@@mindypweightloss keep in mind that your code brown could have been causing some of the nausea from your semagutide. I'm right there with ya, moved up to 1.25 mg Oz week before last. Dose increase and Texas heat makes for pukey days.

I just had a massive full panel done after my last doctor's appointment. Nothing major. My hair loss has backed way down since upping my protein and adding all of those supplements last fall, and I've even had some regrowth. 😊

I am on the compounded semaglutide and I have a prescription for zofran which is a life saver !,,,

Hello Mindy! I'm so sorry you're not feeling well. YOur symptoms are due to not having any medication for two weeks. So one friend was on 15mg of mounjaro and transitioned to 2.4 wegovy after last injection. Your provider should have told you not to let the medications be out of your system before transitioning to a high dose of semaglutide and to space out your injections so you still had in your system.

Hey Nikki, I'm extremely skeptical regarding any claims from supplement companies. Supplements are not regulated by the FDA the same way as prescription drugs, so companies can make almost any claims they want and often dilute products and/or use extremely poor quality ingredients, so it's REALLY difficult to source good quality supplements. The research is very spotty, and most of the info out there is from sensationalized news articles, which makes me even more skeptical. I'm a HUGE advocate of using natural products for health, but I'm just not ready to say that I think berberine is the answer. It's been around for decades, so if it really did all of the things they are claiming, don't you think we would have heard more about it by now? 🤷‍♀️❤️

@simplynikki6911 you will need an Rx, so you should definitely discuss it with your doctor. Some doctors are woefully ignorant about compounding, so just beware. I had to fire 3 doctors to find the right one. ❤️
