My First Harley-Davidson Cost $10,000

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

I've had my 2013 Harley V-Rod Muscle for a few months now and I think it's time to explain why I bought one to begin with. It's mostly for curiosity reasons since I also have a 2007 Suzuki M109R to compare it to. A bigger reason is also because it made financial sense to buy a used V-Rod Muscle since the market for them is holding value.

Your cinematography is so good. I'm personally glad you bought the Vrod, I came for the Indian content and stuck around for YOU in the long run. Your content is fresh, unique, and filmed so well. I enjoy your channel and I'm glad you have such a variety. That being said I'm still waiting for a new indian to pop up in that collection of yours 👀. Lol but for real great work brother and just keep doing what your doing. You've inspired so many to become riders and that's awesome.

shame they discontinued the V-Rod. It was the coolest thing in the HD line-up imo, it was the sharpest bike Also, awesome that you named your bike FakeHD, HD didn't know what they are missing out on. I love the VROD. I even love it's little brother, the Street Rod 750. Only thing keeping me from getting one, besides already having a "muscle cruiser", is it's hard to find mid control vrods in my area and I've sat on enough of the forward controls to know that they are just too far out for me. I think the VROD was Harley's best chance to step outside of the "heritage" market. It's a shame they discontinued them. But, I do love that most Harley riders hated them so much that their resale value is within my budget. My riding buddy rides a muscle and it is a great bike. We have a blast opening them up side by side on the long straights.

Awesome breakdown man! So many pretty bikes in one channel, the two staples and then a beautiful revolving door of drool-worthy bikes coming though for your and our entertainment 👍🏼. For anyone to say “those bikes aren’t made for people like you” is such a narrow minded way of thinking. You ride whatever your heart wants to ride, just like music, it transcends 👆🏼 Ok so it’s Laconia Bike Week 2021 up here and I have tried 7 new Indians! So much power in that chief lineup!!!! Rode one with a stage 2 on a 116, it was insane, thought it was in sport then I definitely put it in sport and cranked it! First one I rode was the Super Chief in honor of you. You inspire probably more people than you think, I wouldn’t even think to be out test riding bikes if not for starting to watch your channel and others about bikes too, big thank you!!

Very interesting video that sums up my perspective on the V-Rod as the Harley anomaly. I've never ridden one and find myself chronically curious about it. I fulfilled a 34 year old dream by recently buying an 87 Honda vf700c, the "Super Magna" which I'm very happy with. Still, I've been looking at the Scout, Speedmaster, and 1300 Sabre as smooth cruisers all the while nagged by that V-Rod itch. I think the mid-position pegs and pull back bars might be a must for my old back. Thanks for the itch-intensifying video!

I am not (personally) a fan of the riding position on the Muscle - my neck was done after the 15 minute test loop. But then I sat on a Street Rod variant with the midset controls - Oooh man I *still* have the wantsies. Try not to push the value up on 'em too high until I can pick one up, please?

Who the hell said you cant have a Harley because of the way you looked!? That's messed up, like REALLY messed up! That absolutely infuriates me to hear you say that. I scored my V-Rod from a car dealership in Idaho that took it in on trade so, I knew they took the guy for a ride on trade-in. Threw a figure at them, they came back, I said no, called me the next morning, put 500 down on my credit card, drove 2 hours north and scored my 2014 for 7k with 3500 miles. It has the Harley V-Rod rigid leather saddle bags, windshield and analog HD clock. Sold the bags for a cool grand and the windshield for 300. Now, its back to its Muscle roots! Love my bike! Just dropped a time-lapse ride from my home to Bear Lake Utah and back. I will never sell my ride. I will just add to it. I really want the FXDR to add to my garage. One might think you like those fat back tires, lol. Just go ahead and get a straight up drag bike with wheelie bars. Seriously, Harley has made some bad decisions during it's history, but I don't believe the Vrod is one of them esthetically or mechanically. Beautiful machine. I hope their endeavors with the Pan America on the adventure side of things works out for them.

Funny how there are two camps for the v-rod. Those who say it's not a Harley, and those who stand by it 100%.

Porches rod muscle is a great bike then if it beats the HD norm they get rid of them sadly.

Why you bought the V-Rod in 2020. Name any biker that is content with one bike he or she owns? ..................... There aren't any, that's just the bike life journey...😋😎
