Well that was a close one! Are you allergic to anything? We came up with the worst scenario for Peter...which involves a cat in a Christmas tree, laying on a feather pillow, in a dusty room... Let us know what would be the worst scenario for you! Is it bad that the thought of those things all together kinda makes me laugh???

Im allergic to Benadryl yes its crazy i know.... I cant breathe from it. Its scary. Mary try using your backpack at home to keep your feed bag and tubing up so it cant get yanked. Im sure it will be helpful when youre doing stuff too not to have to worry about picking up the feed bag each time you move.

When I was a camp counselor we had a little girl who was allergic to kiwi, of all things. I bet that one was a nightmare to diagnose! And sure enough, one day the kitchen served kiwi with lunch and we had to intervene.
As soon as you described what you’d done since last having your dexcom receiver I wondered “what if Mary accidentally wrapped it up in one of the presents?” 😂
One trick that can help prevent a pull out if any tube... is to always put a loop in it before taping down. This is a very old trick that we were always told to do when securing lines and tubes but many practioners have gotten away from remembering to use a loop or instructing patients to do so with the advent of staylocs and grippers and other tools to secure lines. If the patient prefers tape they often forget that there is not a stabilizing tool in use and they need to go back to the old fashion loop approach. I am sure in the past you have had nurses make a loop in the tubing so there is,a least on full circle of line with a least 4-5 inches of line before it's taped down and taping the loop correctly is important. This way is enough tension is put on the line that the tape is pulled loose there is a good 4-5 inches of leeway in the line to keep it from immediately pulling on the insertion point. This simple procedure, used since patients first had any tubes placed in there body can really save you. Yes the balloon is there to keep tubes from slipping out but not to prevent pull outs. It's very easy to pull out a tube with the balloon still inflated...we see many patients walk into the ER holding a line that has come out and the balloon is still inflated. We did a study about this and found out that in 98% of these cases either an anchoring mechanism was not used and/or there was no loop put in the line when dressing the line. So don't count on the balloon as the mechanism to keep your line from being pulled out, as that is not it purpose. If you don't like the grippers you really should make sure you loop the feeding tube
LoL Peter was so tired, and Mary was so hyper asking all the questions. Poor sleepy Peter. 😴

Hope Beyond Healing - I’m sure he’s ok. Christmas is unfortunately the most stressful time of the year for pastors.
First time I pulled my tube out was actually kind of comical in the end. My family would prepare my overnight meds in syringes and line them up on the desk by my bed. For safety at that time we utilized railings that they locked in place overnight. So at one point I leaned over the railing to reach for meds and then I was on the floor with my tube beside me.😯The railing hadn't fully latched and somehow my tube got intertwined in it and yanked out as I tumbled to the floor. The funny part came at the ER, late at night, trying to explain to the Dr how my tube came out lol! They ended up using a foley catheter to keep the stoma patent and told me to follow up with Interventional Radiology. This particular tube was sutured in place so not quite as painful as a Ballon pulling out, yes, been there done that, thankfully the internal injury from the sutures wasn't to bad and they just sent me home. Another time i had just been discharged from the hospitsl and my dad was helping me into the car and it got stuck on his belt. To everyone else it probably looked like we were dancing lol! So many more stories I could tell lol! I obviously haven't had the best of luck with them lol! Hopefully you'll do better. If you want added protection there are these belts you can use, I use one when I'm out of the house, just a little added security against it getting yanked.

One thing about watching you, it reminds me to do my nebulizer.
I hope your festivities are going well and you both are having a lovely, healthy (as possible!), full of happiness time. You both deserve and more. AND gorgeous Ollie boy x
So glad your feeding tube didn’t leave your abdomen! 🙌🏻😊
Aah panic! Hope you're ok Mary! Love and hugs from your biggest fan in Scotland, Jenny xxx
Yay a new frey life video when I was just binge watching your other videos.
I cannot say enough about how much I LOVE my Tiles. I should be a paid endorser. Lol. I have them on every set of of keys, wallet and inside my purse!!. I've heard luggage is a great place too. And we have used them a LOT so we gifted or while family with them! And... ADOPT A KITTY!!! We fostered ours and ended up keeping them. So we now habe 3 kitties and 2 rescue dogs. Now I want a poodle. Ollie is ADORABLE!!!
I just wanted to say thank you for inspiring me to work with service dogs. Seeing how you guys treat Ollie made me really passionate about working with service dogs. Before seeing you guys, (over 2 years ago) I wasn’t really informed about service dogs at all, and more so, how service dogs do get to actually be dogs and off duty some times. Thank you.
Peter was SO tired today
Yes!!! 200k coming up!! you guys definitely deserve it!! I love you 3!! 😍
I definitely relate to Peter and his allergies. I have so many! Some of them are like his, itchy watery eyes and that, but some, like cats, hay/grass, and I just learned fresh PUMPKINS, and others cause asthma symptoms. I have to brief friends about it before I can visit anyone. My room and my house are a safe space, and I have to tell people PLEASE make sure you're very clean before visiting me. I even have to stay away from the garden centers around Christmas because of poinsettia.
Mary and Peter, Target has a candle right now called twice as nice which is Christmas tree scented and it comes in a ceramic Christmas tree (or you can get it in a glass jar). I bought it to satiate the need to have my apartment smell like a Christmas tree lot without having to buy a tree. I literally wish I could go to all the targets and buy all of their twice as nice candles lol
Haha! Lol! You guys crack me up! The hairless cat is called a Sphynx. The funny thing is that I have always called it a naked cat like Mary. Lol! I think they are cute. They require frequent baths on a weekly basis and sunscreen if going outside. Have a great week and hope you guys can rest up at some point. Happy Holidays! Love and hugs to you all from Florida! By the way, Peter didn't do Ollie's goodnight voice at the end. ;( Lol! Goodnight and good morning!
Ollie seems to be in hibernation mode. So cute!! XD
Your yawns were so catching today haha.
poor peter! so glad we got a pretend tree. my allergies are bad enough without a real one!
Glad to hear your feeding tube didn't come out, but I bet that was painful! I'm allergic to cedar, and here in our area of Texas, it time for the Cedar bloom. Cedar pollen is horrible this time of year. We call it Cedar Fever! Have fun decorating your new tree!
Oh my gosh hope you're ok Mary xxxxx
Thank you, Mary and Pater. I watching you guy's on KZread, I take my nebuiizer, morning and night.
Omg your feeding tube story😣 my stomach hurt just listening. So glad you are fine though 💕💕💕💕
Ollie Boy is funny and cute when he's in fast forward.
You guys just crack me up. Get some rest and "see" you tomorrow. Glad you didn't react too much to the tree, Peter. And really glad the feeding tube stayed where it was supposed to. Whew!!
put some pink and glow in the dark duct tape on it! That is how I find my glasses case. lol
Love ordering my groceries online (Walmart) and picking them up. Add things to my list through the week to make it easier.
Oh my Peter! I am allergic to all of those too! Dust from boxes is one of the worst for me. My eyes get almost completely swollen shut- I have to use the Zaditor drops, my inhaler and allergy pills. The doctors told me the best way to counteract, is the avoid those things, obviously, and to wash them off as soon as I can or notice a reaction. It is a pain! Oh, and my Ollie bundle came on Tuesday- I put it under the tree, and Freya can have her baby Ollie on Christmas. 🐶
Hi Peter and Mary! I have been watching your videos for the past couple months! I keep wondering what your recipe is for your coconut curry because it looks so good! Willing to share it to the public? Merry Christmas
Mary that is soo scary!!! Happy everything is ok.
I've commented this before but my son would pull his out because he knew he'd get to stay home from school. He would giggle and giggle. Balloon and all...*POP*, out it would go. The hole would swell and start to close up very quickly to the point I couldn't put a new button in and would have to go by ambulance to the hospital (couldn't put him in a car seat). He loved ambulance rides, especially when there wasn't much wrong and he could enjoy it. I couldn't get mad at him or discipline him because he was just so darn cute about it all.
Wow I'm so glad it didn't come out ! Have a relaxing Sunday ! I can't wait until you guys get to 2,000 subs !!!
Not sure if anyone else recommended this, but I would check the amount of fluid in your tubes balloon after the pull. Just to make sure it didn't get damaged. Love you guys. I have a service dog in training who is a cream standard poodle.
Your videos always seem to leave me feeling warm and calm :) thanks I´m allergic to dust mites as well, luckily I ussually don´t have extreme reactions. My old bed at my parents house is the worst for me, though.
Love you guys. ❤️
Great to see you had a good an productive Sunday. I'm glad ur feeding tube didn't come out. A few months ago I was playing with 1 of my dogs and he caught his paw on part of my Supa Pubic catheter and he yanked it all the way out with the catheter ballon fully inflated. It made me so glad that due to my Spina Bifida I can't feel my body cos I bet that would have hurt a lot. Cos it's only a small hole it fits through(shouldn't fit a fully inflated cath ballon through) 1st I new that it had completely come out of my bladder and abdomen was cos I had blood stain on my trousers(pants) I went into full panic mode cos it's a good 10cms of foley cath that should have been inside on the outside. Thing with SP catheters is that they have to be replaced within 20mins otherwise the incision in the bladder and abdo close up so you have to have the operation again. I can safely say that it was one of my most panicked phone calls to the district nurse.lol. But all was well. Every time I watch your vlog the last few weeks I've been loving your Christmas decorations and stuff but I still haven't got my tree up or anything Christmasy. As always sending you all loads of love from me and my furbabies over here in England 💜🐶🐶🇬🇧
I really love watching your vlogs, you guys are awesome ☺️💕
I’ve had mine fall out before I’ve yanked mine before it hurts a lot!!
Ollie's face while you are doing your vest is a hoot!
Awesome.... And I pray that it NEVER HAPPENS
When ordering groceries online, we have used BOXED and Jet and been extremely happy with both.
I had to have allergy testing done too! I’m from Idaho and I’m allergic to everything that grows here, and dogs and dust. Strangely the only thing I wasn’t allergic to was mold... everyone is usually allergic to mold You guys are great!!
@TheFreyLife Mary, Peter, and Oille Boy I got my "Do What You Think You Can't Do" sweatshirt, in the mail today. I LOVE it!!! They found a mass in my thyroid, and I'll have to have surgery and treatment after. I will be wearing my sweatshirt, the whole time.
My worst allergy scenario would be - To walk into a house where cats & dogs live indoors most of the time & then see vases full of Lavender &/or any other pollen producing flowers.
I'm sometimes allergic to cats too and so my partner looked into it for me. Apparently it's actually the cats saliva that people are allergic to rather than the fur- which makes sense especially with cats that shed a lot because they're shedding fur they have liked and thus saliva with it :) not sure how true it is, it was just what we found n it made a lot of sense.

I’m deathly allergic to zucchini. I know, it’s embarrassing, but I swell up and die. When I was a kid, nobody knew what it was. Now, it’s in, and on, everything! Including chocolate cake, which I found out the hard way. I have to be careful.

The weird thing is that I can eat any other type of squash, cucumber, eggplant. Just not the deadly zucchini. I know...who knew it could be in chocolate cake!? That’s just wrong. I carry an epi-pen.
Hi Mary! I almost pulled my feeding tube out by accident today, too! I’m traveling with it for the first time, and the tubing got caught on a bedpost. Eek! The balloon held, thankfully. It scared me, though! I’m glad yours is okay.
How long did it take you to actually get your Dexcom system? This process seems to be going on forever. It’s been 2 1/2 months of me trying to get one. Getting a bit frustrated. Just wondering if you had this same experience. Thanks. (Ps love the vlogs!)
Speaking of "#" (riveting) I actually DO want to hear ALL about the grocery pickup you did today, tomorrow! :D Love you guys! Oh, Mary when you said "all three of us took a nap," for a second I thought you meant you, Peter, and the Dexcom receiver in stead of you, Peter. and Ollie.
I have had a feeding tube my whole life and still have it. I have pulled my feeding tube out twice in 17 years. I was younger when it has happened but it hurt so bad. I remember I did it one time on Christmas Eve.
Mary I am diabetic and when I have a low and find myself not at home or have food available... I use oj or sugar pills to bring me up temporarily..... But I find that every time this happens I know I have 40-60 mins and the temporary sugar I used crashes me every time !!!! I know I have that little window to eat a light healthy meal or big snack..... At least for me but sounds like you do the same.....all three of my doctors say orange juice is best way to bring up blood sugars safely and doesnt throw you into high blood sugars.....( 1 cupful ) but sugar is sugar when you are crashing !!!!!!!!!!
Is Mary getting better or staying the same?
Happy Christmas

New watcher! sorry if you've addressed this before (I've made an impressive dent but haven't watched them all). I know you had mentioned being unable to tolerate the formula you had planned via your tube and was wondering if you had tried blending your own food? my son doesn't have cf but he does have respiratory and GI issues (we were actually up on 11s while you all were admitted this last time). we have recently started blending our own foods and running them through his Jtube! No clogging so far and we have been doing research on different foods that help with lung function and immune system boosters-- hoping food is the best medicine for him and figured I'd throw it out there to you all! Have a happy and healthy holiday
Is hing from the Mac cheese you can only eat a cup of it ok
You know there is a alarm thing on the dexcom? You can set the alarm, and when it disconnects it starts beeping!
I love your matching pants! ❤
Did you upload your sermon, Peter? I don't see it on your Channel.
I always lose things. You need to try and remember the last time you used it, what did you do and when and where.
I have a naked cat and need someone to watch it over Christmas. Want to come to Washington DC?!?!? Haha I've been watching you guys for over a year now I think and you were playing while I was making dinner and you mentioned the naked cat and I was like, THEY ARE TALKING TO ME!!!!! hahaha. obviously not, but it was neat. :)
My daughter is on night feeds and doesn't understand not to walk too far away from her pump. So I have cut holes in all her pajamas and thread the extension through and tape it to her pajamas so 99.9% of the time the pump alarms about the bag being dislodged before it actually pulls on her button. One time during day feeds she snapped the extension end off right in her button. So we had intestine juice leaking everywhere until we got it out. :P Fun times.
hi mary and peter i had a ng feeding tube from birth till i was 4 then once i was 4 i got a surgical amt micky button the same as yours and had that until i was 15 and my feeding tube got pulled out 2 times, first time my sister was fighting me and she grabbed it and it came out and i felt it and then the second time my nan tripped over my tubing from my feeding pump and completly pulled it out my stomach and the balloon broke in the process as well but because it happened so quick i didnt feel it at all. ive now been tube free for almost 3 year but it took lots of work, effort, trial and error and therept to get me to a healthy stage to have it pernamenty removed ive watched you for years xxx
I wonder if you train Ollie to find your Dexcom?
In have got my g tube stuck under the toilet seat. Painful ! I finally had it taken out cause it kept moving and caused a infection. I'm dealthy allergic to cats and Christmas trees amongst other things . My body will swell up and itch and I'll have a asthma attack, eyes will swell shut etc. It's not a pretty site
Mary, I have yanked my tube as well, and it does hurt. I have a g/j so it’s a longer tube. Thankfully I have never yanked it out 🤞
I’ve wondered why Mary and others I’ve seen with feedings tubes leave the tubes dangling out all the time. I would think they would get caught very easily. Is there some reason they don’t tuck them into their pants and/or shirts more? Maybe that impedes the flow somehow? For example why couldn’t it be fed up the back and then come out the shirt at the back of neck and into the backpack. Not only would it not dangle and get caught but would make it virtually invisible to other people (less gawking).
You can get a different type of PEG button where instead of your extension tube being locked in by putting it in, then turning, you just push it into the PEG button and it clicks in place. Then if you catch it on something it will just pull out of the PEG button and not pull the button out at all. Does that make sense? I think it’s called a Bard Button instead of a Mic-key
Mary my one of my cats just had 7 kittens and i have been bottle feeding 3 kittens because there money went missing, but we live in the bush on 8 acers.
Hey Peter -- can you talk (or just comment) a bit about how allergic you are to dogs/cats/etc. and if you've ever had any issues with Bonesy, haha. I am very allergic to both dogs and cats (and a million other outdoor allergens) but my husband and I REALLYYYY want a dog. Except, I am terrified that we will fall in love with a dog (and likely spend a lot of money to ensure he is pure bred or doesn't shed) and then I will end up being incredibly allergic still. Appreciate any feedback you have. Love your channel! Hugs from Miami, FL.
That would’ve been something if you wrapped your dexcon in one of the presents you were wrapping. Haha
i didn't see your mucus but i did see that you're watching kelli!!!! i love her and i love you guys!
I noticed you don’t paint your nails anymore. Any particular reason?
Yay the balloon did its job. I have almost pulled my GJ tube out a couple of times in the 9 years I’ve had it. I have had one come out while I was asleep because the balloon was deflated partially.
😊❤️
i have seasonal allergies so my nose is all stuffy and I can I call for a lot like you every time it changes season even in summer spring it's just like a sickness that like last two weeks at a time so it's crazy because you don't want your sickness last 2 weeks you want everybody sick you are sick forever and you're technically contagious even though it's just seasonal allergies weird
Allergies are the pits. I have a problem with house dust.
I have one of those tile thingies attached to my car keys, wallet, cell phone (because I forget to charge it) and TV remote. The one I have has the app. that will show a map that I can zoom in on. Cat rescues are always looking for fosters.
Hey I was just watching your video from 9.10.17 and you both are talking about a toy Peter use to have that he use a bike pump for and Mary said something about a girls toy so I looked it up and I found them their Calle sky dancers I don't know how to upload the image or them
You basically have 200,000 youtube stalkers lol we love you all ❤ congratulations ❤
How much does Oliver weigh? Aw feel better Mary! I love you all and Oliver ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Ah man! It appears every video on KZread (granted I didn't actually test them all) seems to be working for me but yours. I only sadly caught the first two minutes or so. Sad sad day. I'll try again later though cuz I need my daily dose of frey life.

Ahha!! Success!!!
this happen to everyone and all you need to do is pop it back in. a few weeks ago it got pulled out of my daughter's and blood started to come out really fast and i clean it up and pop a new one in and call 911 and by the time we got to the children hospital it stop bleeding and they made sure she had no blood in her tummy and sent us home. I am sorry that this happen. it Lucy will cry for a few days because this can cause a sore in the inside of the tummy from the ball pulling on the inside of your tummy.
I was so excited to get my Ollie plush! I got him last week and he has come to school with me during my exams
No allergy but my dad is allergy to wool so no wool in the house and a room follow of snakes is my worst scenario possible for I a scare of snake or anything slime too
I have allergies to gluten, dairy, eggs, bananas and amoxicillin. I also have bad asthma and dust really bothers me. But, my father in law how’s it rough. He’s allergic to EVERY pain medicine. The only thing he can take even after a surgery is Tylenol or Advil.
Not allergic- because I can take oral Benadryl, but I CANNOT have IV push Benadryl. It’s so bad! They’ve done it multiple times in ambulances or the hospital and it makes me feel like I’m dying and I’m not able to talk, I throw up, and then I get a dystonia reaction. Happened like four times, diluting does nothing. Whenever someone mentions IV Benadryl I freak out inside because of my reaction haha
Ollie is so cute, in the sped up footage, it looked like he was talking to you. 😄🐾 I am not allergic to anything, but I can't stand the taste of liver and peas.
