My Favorite Activities at Acadia National Park | Day 1

Two amazing days at Maine's Acadia National Park with my oldest daughter. Join us during these two videos as we enjoy three local restaurants, engage in two popular hikes (the Beehive and the Bubbles), ride a lobster boat (Lulu's), hike along the iconic rocky coast, swim at Sand Beach and watch the sunset from atop Cadillac Mountain.

Mark Berry Acadia NP is an experience you must not miss. In the last decade, I’ve been there four times. I do a fair amount of amateur photography, and the options for that are endless. The combination of the ocean, (and smell) fresh water lakes, topography, seafood, and places to stay, is what makes it so special to me! It’s a national treasure!

In the last year or so my girlfriend and I started really getting into national parks across the country partly because of your videos. And I wanted to thank you for opening my eyes to the beauty that this country contains. It’s really frustrating sometimes though with the crowds in these parks. We went to Glacier and couldn’t even do some of the things we wanted to cause the parking was full from sunrise to sunset.

It's being loved to death. The crowds were terrible. The traffic was awful. It's a shame. It's an absolutely beautiful place. Hey Laura, thanks for the great comment! Like you, we too have great memories at that Park. We did our Honeymoon there back in 1996. Married on a Lobster Boat - how cool is that! IMHO, Many of these Parks are going to have to move to a lottery system (like a few already have) to limit the crowds and protect the grounds. Hope to get some Northern Maine videos up soon as we traveled a little up the coast as well.
