In college, there was a woman on my swim team who was homeschooled until she got to college. She was wicked smart! I’m talking 4.0gpa in COLLEGEEE! For those who have been to college, it’s not easy. But she did it. Hopefully the Lord blesses me with the ability to homeschool my future children. There certainly is a benefit to having minimal distractions

I sit here and wonder how you do all that every school day, even though I'm a homeschool mama myself. It really is so much work but it is a labor of love.

Hi, I'm a homeschooling mom in South Africa, and it's amazing to see how similar our days are! Encouraging to see the run-of-the -mill days, makes it extremely relatable. Thanks so much

We use alum for canker sores. Love your DITL. Your routine/schedule helped me out huge today. Im home schooling 5, freshman, middle school, 2 second-graders (one child has autism, we believe), and a pre-schooler. Yes, so every aspect of school. Ive been wanting to start working out, I've been trying to figure out how to squeeze it all in! My pre-schooler still doesn't sleep all night. It takes forever to get him settled in to bed, and he keeps coming into our bed. Which means, interrupted sleep. I know that this, too, shall pass :). Thank you, Ashely for sharing.

Phew, love this DITL! Our busy schedule starts this week. Speech 2x a week, tutoring 1x a week, Physical Therapy 1x a week, dance 1x a week, baseball 1x a week… while hubby is in college and working full time. I wouldn’t change anything either. Seeing the kids grow, I am so grateful to see and spend this time with them. Thank you for sharing your day, the in and out, how you squeeze in time with your own husband and animals. Can’t wait to see the next one. Always blessed.
