I would do the nail clipping and ear cleaning last after giving a bath, towel drying and brushing out or just brushing out. By the time I got to the nails and then finally the ears, my Aussie would be practically in a coma she'd be so relaxed and just let me do whatever I wanted.

This is all I want in life honestly to have a cottage and my pup to be a lil lake swimmer and trail hunter lol

my advice to all of you getting a new aussie pup is to socialize, socialize, socialize. do your best to expose them to bikes, motorcycles, other people and dogs, and even fireworks! aussies are extremely smart and loyal when they’re properly exercised and cared for. good luck!!

Yeah, commercial raw is HELLA expensive. I handmake it from grocery store + My Pet Carnivore, but I leave the expensive dried stuff for the road. You can dehydrate your own food, by the way! It's so awesome to see these dogs having so much fun! I'm so excited to get my own puppy out there in the wilds, once she's got the hang of "learning to dog"

Second to FRISBEE, I really like this view into Frankie's world. Indy is so mellow and Frankie is Frankie. We used to walk see the storms come in over Lake Ontario ...and I enjoyed visiting a friend on Canadaiqua lake (upstate NY)....years ago... teh lake at 6 pm and flat as glass....

$15 for four days worth of food (two patties a day) isn't that bad. My aussie and I visit a favorite pub on the weekend (usually Sunday) for brunch. They have "puppy paddies" which are unseasoned ground beef, smashed flat and grilled. $4.50 a piece. She eats two of them. When the weather is nice I like to grill outdoors. Chicken or beef, she gets her share of that too. I worry about "raw" because of salmonella?

I am taking my tow Australian shepherds to newhampsher tow day and we are going to try to Paddleboard and frankly is so cute

I have the same nail Clippers! It's about25 years old and still works well for my pup.

Do not trust the stopper on the nail trimmers. I actually remove it. Take slivers at a time. It takes way too much off. ❤️ Frankie and Indy ❤️

What brand is Frankie’s PFD and does it have a place to clip a tether? After seeing how much fun Frankie has on your kayak, I’m thinking of taking Sophie my blue Merle mini Aussie on the water too. Love your videos; it gives me a personal high to see dogs so happy.

Are you going to do a video about Frankie's experience with raw? I adopted a dog a couple of months ago and she was so picky! Who ever heard of a picky rescue dog!? Some people in the adopters Facebook group suggested raw so I tried it. So far she's been really good on it. I want to keep her on it a few months and see how her health/coat/teeth look. Ya I agree though, so expensive! What brand are you buying? I've been doing the Big Country Raw (I'm in Ontario as well).

Honestly, I worry that I don’t find them on him lol cause I’ve only found 5 ever and they have all been easy to find on him. He’s on meds so I know he is well cared but still! I just never find them

Got double teamed today clipping nails. As I was trying to keep one calm so I could clip a nail, my other one kept trying to run off with the nail trimmer. One of my wife's relatives recently got a 4 or 5 year old Aussie, and thought that since they have had other dogs, this would be a piece of cake. These are non active people, with an active dog, and they think that just going for a walk is good enough. Sad thing is you can't tell these people that they need more exercise than walking.

Stay away from Gatorade, really bad for teeth ;-)
