Just a tiny recommendation for pups with sensitive GI tracts- every meal use fresh stainless steel bowl for food and water. Don’t rinse just fresh each time. Really really really reduces critters that can incubate in water or food/saliva residue. But important new food and water bowls at same time and ensure bowls not hand washed but in dishwasher. You should see a huge change. You and Angelica are wonderful puppy parents - we all love you guys!

My mini is a little over a year old, she is my best friend and goes everywhere I go if possible. She’s getting smarter every day. Josie is a Blue Merle and weighs at least 40 lbs., my fault because of people food and snacks. I love watching the Frankie videos, they remind me so much of my Josie!

Yep, 3 years old is officially the teenage years, but I will take a 3 year old Aussie in the house over an actual teenager any day. We took ours out visiting today. Our calmer boy went to the nursing home to perk up an ailing uncle, and my busy bee went on a trip to Cabela's. Only thing that caught his interest there was a catfish, and rawhide chews. Never thought he would be around all the stuffed animals there and not give them a second look. But the catfish was moving, so I assume the movement was what he noticed. At 42lbs, Frankie is just a big mini. My first one was usually around that 42-44lb mark. Just meant he was outside of the size range for show.

i wish there was more aussies where i live. i like how frankie has so much aussie friends! everytime im out w my dog at least one person asks what breed she is. its like no one knows aussies over here! i wish mine was friends w frankie and all his friends

Happy Birthday good boy!

Thank you so much for these wonderful videos of your life with Frankie. On January 25th this year we said goodbye to our 16 year old mini Aussie Simon. Your love for Frankie and his love for you warms out hearts as we adjust to our life without our boy. We had Simon since he was 2 and we saw him through most if his life. Simon had turned 16 this past November 22. His eye sight and hearing was very bad at the end. Also his hips were letting him down and he had some confusion wandering around not really knowing where he was at times. He wasn't having much fun. He was a shadow of his former self. He went peacefully by my side at the vet. Due to covid we could only have one person attend. We are heartbroken but we are confident that it was the best solution for Simon. He enjoyed a wonderful adventurous life and gave us both so much each and every day. Trust that even though we cry a little sometimes watching you and Frankie it is very cathartic and we revel in the times ahead for you both. Thanks again Jeff

Thankfully my Aussie was born August 26 so his first birthday was beautiful weather and lots of family friends and his BFF the next door neighbors dog a yellow lab named woody came. I buy him Kong toys and Go Dog toys they seem to be more durable. No puppy for Frankie yet? Happy 3rd Birthday Frank’o.

Regularly take them out after every meal or whenever they wake up from a nap and give them lots of praise for using the bathroom outside including treats or toys whichever one your aussies more fond of.

Have u had any issues with aggressive behavior towards other people or dogs or kids?? My 4 month old is starting to display this and struggling to deal with it.. any suggestions??

We haven't had any scenarios where the pups have been aggressive and I know it is a very serious topic so I don't want to give any advice I haven't used myself. I would check out this youtube channel called McCann Dog training. I have used their videos to train frankie and I am sure they might have something on that topic

Hey Joey! I've been watching your channel for over a year now trying to find out if this breed is right for our family, but have had no joy, so here's our story! We are a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids between the ages of 9-13) living in an ok sized house with 2 cats, and we would be able to walk the dog in the suburbs every weekday for about 1-1.5 hours, and possibly bring them for a forest walk either every Saturday/Sunday, and would he able to be trained every other day. All 3 kids would be in school from 8-2, but there would be someone home at those times practically all the time, but, on Thursday, there is no one in the house from 8-5 due to work. From extensive research into many breeds we believe this may be the dog for us, but we'd like to ask someone with the breed for an accurate answer. Is this dog right for us??!?!

By "mean", are you referencing when I told her it's not her birthday? Because in all of the other videos I take care of her for weeks on end, feed her, bathe her, exercise her, and help train her as she was adopted and before she wouldn't even let me pet her. I am always joking around whenever i poke fun at the dogs, and i apologize if it came off as otherwise.
