It really shows you can have a dog with out acres of land. And tricks are also jobs in the mind of a working dogs. They dont need cattle to work.
Frankers is such a great boy!
Lol I love how Frankie is in the background raising his paws when you ask indie to do it! 🤣😂
I've heard it's a great idea to teach hand signals alongside vocal commands because it makes it easier to be able to communicate with your dog as they age and their hearing starts to go. It's also just so impressive and reinforces paying attention. Love your videos! I have a red tri male who is so similar to Frankie in size and frisbee obsession.

Aussie mommy here ive taught my 5 month only spanish, English and hand signals. He knows them all
He knows so much, he's so smart!! I love little Frankie. Its like he knows sign language! Indie reminds me of my Mini. These dogs are just amazing!

Ooof that slip and slide from Indie was so hilarious I’m sorry
It’s so cute, when you shook Indy at 2:09 Frankie also tried to shake
Omg!!!!!! You made a video for it!!! Thx so much!!!! I commented that and you actually made it?!?!?!? Omg thanks!! It means so much!!!!!!!
Omg Frankie is just my fav! He is just the best!
Frankie is like: im so boooooooooored, when can I come?
Awww I love them
I have a golden shepard rn and he's super smart. Was able to reach him left and right paw in about 20 minutes. We just ordered those talking buttons so we will be trying that soon
That was totally wicked!
Indy WAS in to it..but she fall on here head :( I think you did not notice that, but she was in pain for a moment. I hope she was/is ok?! It's so good you learned Frank the hand motion! My dog became deaf at an older age and thankfully she new a few hand motions. Even when she was very far away she tuned in a lot and 'listend' to our hand motions. But if my mom would have know about so many other trick and hand motion (when she was a pup...I was 5..now 41, so long time ago) it would have been way less stressfull for my lovely doggie. She was scared a lot those days. So ceep doing them! You never know when you actualy need them :)
I wish I had a dog like yours it so cute and smart
love this!!!! amazing job with the silent commands :)

Merry early christmas 🎄 Frankie
Hey, Awesome job with both doggos! Love all of your videos! I was wondering when you started training all of these commands with Frankie and how you get him to have such great eye contact?
I need to practice more with Percy some of these kind of tricks! Percy hasn't been to receptive to much of this. He tries to just do what he wants.
I've been binging your videos! They are so helpful and entertaining as well. I just placed a deposit for a mini Australian Shepherd for next summer ☺

Ahh that is exciting I am glad they help!
Great video! I watched a training video somewhere where they suggested that some dogs do better with hand signal cues rather than verbal cues. My girl has "sit", "down" (lie down), "stay" and heel to either side with hand signals so far. :)

You have an amazing bond with Frankie... please make a few videos about how you work with him to learn tricks... my friend as two Aussies and they know some tricks... I"m very close to them... considering getting an Aussie of my own...

Great video!! The training that you have done is really impressive! I realize I am asking a lot of questions but what is Frankie's favorite high value training reward / rewards?

@@FrankieToTheMoon Oh really that is interesting. I have been doing that if I ran out of treats but didn't think of that as a reward. I do use toy play as a reward for training fetch or leave it.
What kind of treat do you use, my puppy is picky, but she is 11wks
Frankie is smarter what I think
Frankie is unbelievably intelligent, incredible focus Amazing pooch. He is more than a pet. Watch Pick Of The Litter on Netflix, you will see what I mean
I was wondering, can he do these tricks without treats? i’ve been struggling to teach my dog how to not be dependent on food when it comes to going down or giving me his paw. Any tips?
indie food motivated
I love the weaving between the legs. How long did it take Franks to pick that up? If I ever adopt a dog, I want to teach that one.

First off i just want to say that austrailian shepards are my favorite kinds of dogs by far! I have a question about them though... are they the easiest dogs to train or did it take a while?
Nice...
How do you get him to jump up onto you?
Such a smart dog! Do you ever think about teaching Frankie to use those conversation buttons?
@FrankieToTheMoon

When I see these conversation button, I think “oh my goodness that must get annoying” 😂😂

@@FrankieToTheMoon Oh yeah for sure😂😂
I tried to teach my border left and right. Now it's one action to him: alternating shaking left right left right left right etc. oops! Nice trick but I wanted independent actions, the left and the right. But he puts up whatever is in line. If I say left twice in a row I get a left and a right. Love the wave. Will teach him that and work on speak as well.
When was your dog born? Mine is feb 22
Nice video

Very clever but the floor is too slippery & they may hurt themselves😕

I started since day one and just took my time with it. Everytime he sniffed it or interacted with it, i praised him and eventually he loved it
Indie 😂
I'm guessing that you got a PS5 because I saw a box of a PS5 in the background. Great videos though! I might get either a Labrador retriever, Golden retriever, Aussie, or mini Aussie as my first dog at 12 years old in a few months (I hope).
Help with my Aussie mini we adopted him in April 2022 he’s 4 yrs old
What smarties! Indie seems nervous - has she always been like that since she was adopted or is that only in certain situations? For ex, she seems fine at the big dog park!

Indy is not having it today its a female thing lol its a joy to watch how good frankie is with your commands good stuff
Kind of regret not getting a puppy because of how “easy” it is for them to bond with you and learn quickly, I adopted my dog 6 months ago and he’s 2 yrs old, picked up as a stray and I just don’t feel a deep bond with him like I think I would a puppy. He’s very independent unfortunately.

With time your dog will have an even bigger bond with you. They know you rescued them. Talk to a trainer or go to group lessons because it really helps
Not cool. The little one was trying and you shut her down. She has obviously been abused and she needs someone with a little patience and understanding. Bad bad bad!!
