Seeing Our New Home For The First Time
Үй жануарлары мен аңдар
➳ Giving Frankie the backyard he deserves! We are moving into a new house and that comes along with retraining and new experiences for my #MiniAustralianShepherd
He seems to be adapting quite well, even though he is a little stressed with all the boxes and movement. Like i have said before, i am not a dog trainer, so i am always open to comments or tips in the comment section so that we can all work together.

I moved a few times with dogs. Take Frankie on walks in all directions in and around your neighborhood so if he gets lost he can find his way home.

Thanks so much for watching
Our little family (including @pixies_pixels624) just moved into a new home too, with a backyard that wasn’t completely enclosed. My husband bought chicken wire and plastic posts from Lowe’s (not sure what the Canadian equivalent is, maybe Home Depot?). He spent an afternoon closing in the gaps and it works great! I guess the snow may make install trickier than California weather, but I’m sure you’ll make it work! We love you guys! Thanks for the great videos!
Good luck in your new home Frankie is a sweet boy

I have to say Brittanys were on my list before Frankie! Sorry for your loss ❤️
consistency. consistency is key. i worked with my dog because we didn't have a closed-in fence at first like you and eventual after letting her know her boundaries, people and dogs would walk past and she eventually would walk up to the end of it but just watch them pass, knowing she wasn't allowed passed a point. and as for the door, I always have her sit before letting her out for her to ask for permission from me first. i have so much respect for you. i was so excited for you to get Frankie and seeing you go beyond and putting more work and training in than a typical dog owner is very exciting to see. you two make a wonderful team and love watching the videos and have even learned a thing or two from you guys. keep up the great work. sending support from colorado!

when it’s fully furnished can we get a house tour
I've been anxiously awaiting this video! Congrats! So excited for you guys! Just a friendly suggestion from another dog owner and subscriber, maybe take off Frankie's collar when you can't supervise him? There's been countless incidents where dogs have strangled themselves when their collar and/or tags got stuck in their crate, in a floor vent, or somewhere else in the house. I just don't want to see Mr. Franks hurt.

aw thank you! And to be honest, I much rather keep it on him. It is a fully rubber collar and especially right now with the risk of him leaving the backyard I just need it on him at all times. Eventually when we get more settled it may come off.

@@FrankieToTheMoon I totally get it! I agree about it being on in the backyard, I actually meant just when he's in his kennel by himself, or in the house by himself/not supervised. But it's totally up to you, you know your dog and situation best! I just wanted to let you know :)
Anybody know what the Outro Music is? Such a nice tune and would like to hear the entire song ~ ~ ~

Haha that’s the plan! Just don’t know what to do
How long you leave him at home every day ?
I wonder how tall Frankie is? My mini aussie is just about 40 centimeters (15.7 in inches)
Hello, pleass can you write from what kennel is Frankie?
Hi Frankie
Who is We? You used to live downtown with a beautiful view with a parking garage, etc
Hello! I have a question, if you could change ANYTHING about Frankie, what would it be? ilysm btw
Here is something I worked on with my dogs to meet each other set up a walk with ollie and his owner then have each dog walk on the outside of the each owner then slowly move them to where they are next to each other and keep doing this for a while and let them sniff each other and work your way up to maybe going to the dog park hope this helps 😁🐶🦮

That’s a great idea... it’s just covid is still very active where we live so trying to keep distance. I was thinking about going to a neutral spot so neither dog is defensive. But Ollie is 12 years old so idk
I's sure Frankie will luvs his new yard! Mom says we is moving too next year . . . but into bigger house next doors. I's confused. Hows will I know which door to bark at?!
:)
I have a question i got my mini aussie in November and I was wondering if its normal for his ears to be pointed up?

Please put up extra fencing in openings for Frankie cause Shiloh is concerned for his safety. For some reason Shiloh loves sticks and rocks too.

Aussies are very sensitive breeds and they take everything very seriously including the move. I have a collie mix and I experience those sensitive traits. Do you also feel that Frankie is a sensitive one?
