I Stole My Girlfriend's Dog.. | The story behind Indie The Mini Aussie
Үй жануарлары мен аңдар
➳ Today we are stealing Indie, my girlfriends mini Australian shepherd. She was adopted at the age of 2 and she is now 5 and has been through a tremendous amount. I am honestly emotional talking about it because it has been a long journey, but she has come so far and I am so proud.

I noticed Indie slowly growing on you. She just needed some time. From no kisses at all to lots of hugs and kisses. Love this video! Love you guys and stay safe 💞🙏🍀💞
It is emotional. Great to see a dog become more confident and less stressed. I have adopted adult dogs before and it is great to see them progress. Good job guys!!

It is emotional and you should be very proud of yourself. It takes alot of time and patience but to see her so happy makes me tear up and must feel so rewarding to see her now. She has really come out of her shell and she looks so much more free. Free from the fear and anxiety she was feeling for so long. You are a great daddy to those fur babies.
frankie and Indie looks so darn cute sitting together and the patience they have while waiting for there foods hats off to you joey good stuff for all the training put into it and its great that Indie is doing so much better thank you for sharing
Rescue dogs can be tricky because you don't know what their life was before they get to you. They take time to adjust to new surroundings, and if they have been mistreated, they may never fully adjust. It is good to see Indie taking to you and Frankie so well.
My last dog was a rescued Jack Russell Terrier and for the first year I had her she would drop to the floor and yelp thinking I was going to kick her. It took a long time for her to trust me and never was very affectionate, she was the smartest best trained dog I ever had. She was 5 when I got her and 16 1/2 when she passed. Spunky is still young and has come a long way and is such a loving mama’s boy.
Dogs like Indie who have a problem making physical contact have either been neglected as a puppy or like you said, hit. (i'm not 100% sure but that's my hunch) My brother's dog has been so neglected and hit when he was younger. I tried to get close to him for one year and up to this day, he can't give dog kisses or be close to you for long amounts of time. Indie is so lucky to have people like you to learn good behaviors from and unconditional love. Sending lots of virtual pats to Indie
indie is so cuteeeeeeeee
i love watching your videos! i am currently saving for a mini Aussie and doing lots of research on them!
Indy is around caring and loving people like you and angelica she is sure going to live a happy life! Amazing video!
We have had three rescue Aussies. They have been Such Great Dogs. But many rescues come with issues that need to be dealt with…which is SO worth it. You have to be prepared to put in a little more love and patience with them. Indie is just blossoming, and it is worth all of the extra patience you have with her. So happy you recognize this. Love Frankie and Indie TO THE MOON!
I love watching Frankie and Indie! They are gorgeous dogs.
I just got my first Mini Aussie, and your videos are honestly like a breath of fresh air. (On top of the fact no one else posts with MINI in their SEO, LOL)
So glad to see you guys again! Happy Holidays! Madi, my BC, and I are watching now! 🐶🐶 Such a hopeful video! I just rescued my border collie 4 months ago (she has the same birthday as Frankie). We are working so hard on training and relaxing. Love seeing Indy really coming into her own. It's such a process when you adopt a dog...you never know but love and patience goes a long way! BTW, where do you get those Tarter Busters bones? Poor Frankie and his sensitive tummy! Best of luck and happy wishes and walks!
Thank you happy new years all the love to the pups
It’s a great morning when I get to see one of y’all’s videos

Yeah I will be speaking about it more in a new video because we went a little MIA
they are both so cute and adorable and I wish my ausshole could play with them 🥰 Frankie has the cutest smile I love when he shows his teeth How often do you give them baths? Have you ever played soccer? Soccer is my doggos favorite thing My aussie also has a crazy sensitive stomach. We give him Nutrisource (made in Minnesota where we live) it’s amazing for him and we highly recommended :) Keep up the great work
Love watching your videos with my daughter and our mini aussie, Avery. Also digging your white sweater with the water/canoe, where did you get it? Hope you can figure out Franko's stomach problems. Avery has a weak stomach too.
I love the captions
I was looking to adopt a dog but I couldn’t find one, my kids gave me a Mini Aussie puppy, she has been with me 2weeks and is really coming into her own and that personality is really starting to come out. Not my first Aussie but first mini, love ‘em.
All the wiggles. We hope to have a meet up w friends 4 soon

These dogs are glorious!
Frankie chest bumping Indie at 1:57 mark has me rolling!! 🤣🤣
Hi Joe! I love to see you guys 😬. I’m always thinking of Frankies issues with his belly …. I had also the same issue and the problem was the lack of pro and probiotics on his diet. Add some good quality probiotics and all Issues will be over 🙏. All the best
I love your videos! I have had 2 mini’s over the past 15 years. Our second mini just turned 2. Our first mini had a very, very sensitive stomach. We had to feed her small amounts 4 times a day and that didn’t always work. Our new pup seems to be better but still how bouts of bad tummy. Do you think this is an Aussie thing? I’m beginning to think it may be after hearing your story. My second ? Is this, I notice your dogs don’t bar(at least for no reason). Our pup barks ALL the time she is very mouthy any advise on that?
Love your videos and I just trained my dog how to be off leash like yours. She's half black lab half Australian Shepherd.

Awww she sounds so cute!
Isn't it amazing what love can do!
Hey! Random question: do you guys have your backyard fenced in yet, or is it still open?
I totally agree about the raw. I think that you just have to do what's best for your dog and sometimes it just doesn't work out with raw. I tried 2 times to switch to raw with my previous dog and it just wasn't great. She just didn't do well on it. I ended up just switching back to kibble but i would add in my own cooked meats on top. i would mix the kibble sometimes with chicken, sardines, beef, etc.
funny, when it started, Ms Lottie responded to the barking and wanted to come see what was going on.... Frankie on his back, well, that's just a perfect day.

Same, Gypsy loves this Channel. She will literally watch almost the whole video. She evens paws at the phone sometimes. She wants to play too.
What kind of Kibble are you feeding Franko?? Have a Mini Aussie whose having irregular movements as well and we are trying to find a good food for him
So cute! Which park are you at here?
Is that an Aussie only dog park lol? Good video
idk if ur gonna see this comment but my family has recently gotten a mini aussie pup thats 10 wks old…how did u train frankie so well and what are some tips?
My Aussie’s energy level is similar to Frankie’s only she is MUCH louder. Do you have any advice on how to get her to be a little less vocal🤣?
As someone with two adopted dogs, one adopted as a puppy and the other adopted at 2 years, both my girls have behavioral issues. They're a lot of work, but they're incredible. They're definitely not for everyone, and I have to put a lot of extra time and tears into my dogs. Even Nova, who I got at 3 months old, has terrible anxiety and has been a hassle to train, likely because of poor breeding. I wouldn't trade my dogs for the world, but adopting isn't for everyone. I hate seeing people push "adopt don't shop" because not everyone can handle dogs with behavioral or health issues. Instead we should be promoting adopting and shopping responsibly and giving people resources on ethical breeders and rescues.

my rescue has separation anxiety, well, ok, we both do... but she will bark as soon as I leave the house and run to look out the window... and in a few days, they want us all back in the office 3 days a week....

@@DanTheManIOM I have the same issue with Nova. She calms herself down after a couple minutes, and I make sure she has a few chew toys while I'm out. So far, she hasn't been destructive while I'm away, but if you're worried about that, I highly recommend crate training and having someone check in with them while you're away, or if you can afford it, take your dog to a reputable dog daycare.
What breed is the black/brown dog?
i love your videos
is it okay if a 10 month old Australian shepherd puppy get to 1-2 1/2 hours of exetresis and gets a mentally extresaice too by doing tricks?
💞
Is there an allergy test the vet can do to help with maybe an allergy to certain foods?
@katz7763
2 жыл бұрын
Yes. Saliva allergy kits. You can get them on Amazon.
I’ve had really good results with Loyal dog food, it was developed for fielding dogs. Firm stools, not stinky dogs, and good weight control, anyways thought I’d share
Have you tried adding a probiotic to Frankie's food? Our pups take the same one that I take.
May I ask if miniature Australian Shepherds and miniature American Shepherds are the same breed, just different name?

Yes. They are the same.
I'm very interested in the tarter bones links?

Toot! Toot!
I would rather have your day! I worked a 16hr shift. I need an aussie group hug
I don’t think that a dog who ducks if you’re hand is coming over their head was necessarily abused. My Aussie will duck sometimes. Heck if you tried to pet me over the head I would pull back. My Aussie was never ever hit over the head. Although she had been rough with me at times LOL! My niece may have tried to pet her hard… she has autism… but never in any kind of abusive manner, and Willow loves her! Licks her to death. Love Frankie and Indie!!!

Love your hair cut like that! Come train my Australian shepherd she is 20 weeks today and I’ve been really trying hard in training her but she is a lil brat! I love her so so much tho! Her name is Willow. Wish I could post a picture of her for you! I just changed my profile pic hope you can see her.
i have a quashtion why dont you give franke filtered water
@FrankieToTheMoon

Because where I live, the water from the tap is high grade enough that even the humans drink it
As far as I know, it is not good for dogs stomach to mix kible with raw food. It is better to stick to good quality kible, cause it can be more more balanced and consistent
Then, good morning by the way, hehe
can you say my name in your videos your next video
Ok, my girl is going to be 9 month. I thought she already was but I skipped a month. Lol. Anyway she has started whining alot. For no reason but for attention. Sometimes even when we are giving her attention. The vet has done a thorough check up and she's doing great. She eats all her dinner and her bowel movements are good. So I know it's not what she's eating. Lol. What can we do about her whining? She gets PLENTY of attention and 2 (one hour or more) walks a day plus some mental games. Thanks in advance.
