My cacti and succulent compost mix part 1.
Join me as I share with you in part 1 of making composts for different types of cacti and succulents using commonly acquired ingredients.I use in my mix as follows,
4 scoops of John innes no 2,
4 scoops of horticultural sand (well washed),
4 scoops of horticultural grit (well washed),
1 scoop of coir,
1 scoop of pumice.
This compost can be used for most cacti and succulents.

It looks indeed more like perlite than pumice. I've never seen white pumice. The problems he is talking about are also more associated withusing perlite than pumice.
Great video! Where in Dublin do you get the pumice?

I don't wash pumice only grit and sand

I buy mine from Amazon. Bonsai and cacti pumice
