Great videos Shane. I’m going to be changing up my mix soon as I’ve has a bad root mealybug outbreak so this has helped out a lot. Recently got some lava rock and pumice, the pumice was on the expensive side so I’ll be using that sparingly. I was using a type of clay cat litter in my mixes, you may have heard about people using that, but I’m not keen on using it anymore. I think my new mix will consist of the JI No. 2, horticultural grit and lava rock, and I’ll add pumice to that for plants that like it a bit more gritty. Thanks again 👍🏻

Mine varies, but its 90 percent mineral for most plants(bark added for epiphytes). Most consists of gravel, coarse sand, brick, leca and perlite as of recent. It works for most(that dont end up suffering from a random disease)...

Bought them many years ago in Kerry, but you will them get in most stores and garden centres, I have 3 year old seedlings I grew from seed.

Bout the same as my mix, I use perlite even though I'm not fond of it. But I use straight coir because it's sustainable. Pumice is hard to get here and outrageous expensive. For my frankincense & myrrh trees I add lime rock. The things we do for desert plant addictions...😉👍
