My Astrophytum myriostigma tulense has developed new roots.
My old Astrophytum myriostigma tulense unfortunately got stem rot last year and after cutting up the stem to get to healthy growth and after nearly 9 months it's growing new roots.

That’s great that it’s put out new roots Shane, hopefully it’ll recover nicely for you. Thank you for sharing with us, be safe and well 👍🏻☀️🌵🌼🏜
That's so exciting to see roots. I have a poor little Mexican species agave in a pot that I'm trying to save. It got run over by a car. The pot was smashed and the leaves mangled but the central growth point looks intact. So I'm hoping. Here's hoping your astrophytum makes it too.
Such a shame that after having a plant for so many years that something like this happens. I am currently in the process of rescuing several Mexican Fencepost Cactus that were run over by a car and snapped off at the base. They are very large and have now been repotted about 6 months without roots. They seem to be doing well with the exception of one of them so I have my fingers crossed and hopefully they will fully recover. I love your collection and am amazed that you have such success being that far North. Good luck to you.
Fingers crossed Shane, hope it stays well and keeps growing for you. And stay safe for you and your family to.
Always enjoy your videos so much.....you stay safe too
