Gail, you may have scarring, but you have a lovely bright eyed face with good features that really come into their own with the application of your make-up. Stunning! From this man's perspective, one of the best pieces of make-up any lady can have is an engaging smile.

You most certainty are not an old lady! You look beautiful! Any companies not catering to our age of women are really missing the boat!!

These companies are missing a trick…there are lots of us “Old Ladies” out there that love makeup, pretty clothes and jewellery! Your makeup always looks lovely. 👌 I love the fact that you like to wear costume jewellery, I used to wear stuff like that but sadly I gave up, your videos are making me realise that I’d like to start wearing it again! 😍

I had stopped cutting my hair, wearing makeup and the costume jewelry that I had loved so much.. Now I’m back to being my unique self and doing what makes me happy.. Got my hair cut into a short bob, bought a bunch of costume jewelry and playing around with my makeup and my wardrobe..

Yes! The costume jewellery! I have lots and ALMOST got rid when the fashion for a couple or 3 of simple chains started. I never actually got round to it which I'm happy about. Time to start wearing it again. Makeup too. It's funny how these things were part of everyday but somehow so went by the wayside. Thank you Gail for being such an inspiration ❤

The over 50 demographic is HUGE! (And, as everyone should know, we have more discretionary income than teens and 20-something’s.) There is no reason you shouldn’t get a sponsorship with how great you look and how your channel is booming!

Fascinating procedure. I am 65 and don't tend to wear make up very often as I can't really see to put it on without my glasses! I never know whether I am making a mess and have to keep putting my glasses on to check - very inconvenient. So a few weeks ago we were in John Lewis and I noticed a large double sided mirror with a high magnification on one side - game changer. I've had magnified mirrors before but they were either not magnified enough or too small to see what I was doing. I now need to get back into the habit of putting on make up, as I just haven't bothered for ages.

Just a couple of tips, you will get a better finish if you use a damp beauty blender sponge to apply your base and if you apply the bronzer much higher up on your cheek bones you will get a lifting affect x

I really did laugh out loud when you were showing your wardrobe! I just decided I am not wearing t-shirts and capris any more. I bought skirts, tops, pants and a swimsuit...all in a similar style to yours!! AND I bought the size I will be able to wear again! I was already overweight and out of shape when I was in an accident and fractured my spine. It has taken 3 months in a torture brace then a year of slow recovery when I struggled to walk across a room. I may never fully recover but am determined to get fit and regain my strength. Seeing all the new outfits waiting for me is my encourage- ment. I also get to buy all new makeup as I trashed all the old stuff...and stopped coloring my hair!! My hubby loves my silver streaks ... so do I. AND, I have been thinking about getting rid of stuff. We diwnsized our home from 2600 sq. ft. To 340 sq ft. 12 years ago, but we kept most of our stuff thinking we would build the "home of our dreams". That ship sailed. Now, I would rather spend the house money on adventures. I'll be ready by next spring. I love your outlook on life!

I had a look at your other videos and only interested in a few tbh. My parents had a health food shop for many years and so I'm aware of most things. We also knew the vegan customers because they looked so ill! I'm going back into the 80's there and I realise most things have advanced now and channels like yours, helps. Try Glo Minerals tinted sunscreen as it looks like a very light makeup and it gives you a little coverage.

I have worn my natural gray for about a year and loved it. Then decided to colour again. Contemplating going all gray again. What l have found is woman that has a tanned or olive skin does look better with gray hair. My skin is very light. I do not really like to put base everywhere on my face as like a fresh, natural feel. Glad l found your channel. Turning 50 in couple weeks & it feels more scary than when l turned 40 for some reason.

No, please, sell me stuff. Sell me stuff. I want to buy it! Your look appears relatively natural to me, so I am a little surprised there are so many steps involved. I am probably too lazy to do all that every day, but I will check out some of these products. My skin looks about like yours, and I haven’t been through a fire, so to me your skin looks perfectly fine with no makeup on. Thanks for the tutorial, and I will be Googling the skin-blurring foundation. I do enjoy your fun effervescent approach to style and beauty, and I am thinking about ramping up my veggie intake. (No pun was intended, but in retrospect, a ramp is a type of wild onion found in the eastern United States.)

I was using Benefit Brow mascara, but it’s $38! I just discovered Essence brand for $4.99 and it’s just as good. I use the taupe as black is too harsh now that my hair has gone mostly white. I’m loving your hairband. Think making one will be my next project.
