Eating only plants changed my life.

My Journey to a Healthier Life
Hey, fellow food enthusiasts! Today, I'm excited to share a personal journey that has completely transformed my relationship with food and, more importantly, my outlook on life. I made a significant change to my diet, transitioning to a plant-based lifestyle, and I couldn't be happier about it.
So, why the switch? Well, let me take you back to where it all began - with research. As someone who has always been interested in health and wellness, I've spent a considerable amount of time delving into various studies and findings related to nutrition. And what I discovered truly blew my mind.
Numerous studies have highlighted the incredible benefits of consuming a plant-based diet for longevity. From reducing the risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, and certain cancers to improving overall health and vitality, the evidence was overwhelming. It became clear to me that what we eat plays a fundamental role in our long-term health and well-being.
Armed with this knowledge, I embarked on a journey to revamp my diet, focusing on incorporating more whole, plant-based foods into my meals. And let me tell you, the results have been nothing short of remarkable.
Since adopting a plant-based diet, I've experienced increased energy levels, clearer skin, and improved digestion. But perhaps most importantly, I feel a sense of empowerment knowing that I'm nourishing my body with nutrient-rich foods that support longevity and vitality.
Now, I understand that transitioning to a plant-based diet can seem daunting at first, especially if you're used to a diet centred around animal products. But trust me when I say that it's worth it. Start by incorporating more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, legumes, nuts, and seeds into your meals, and gradually phase out processed and animal-derived foods.
But my journey doesn't end here. In fact, it's just the beginning. Through this video, I hope to inspire and empower others to join me on this plant-based journey. Whether you're looking to improve your health, reduce your environmental footprint, or simply explore new culinary horizons, embracing a plant-based diet can be a transformative experience.
So, here's to a future filled with vibrant health, boundless energy, and delicious plant-based meals. Let's nourish our bodies, minds, and souls with the power of plants and pave the way for a healthier, happier world. Are you ready to join me?
If you found this video inspiring or helpful, don't forget to like, share, and subscribe for more content on plant-based living and wellness. Together, we can make a positive impact on our health and the planet, one plant-based meal at a time. Thanks for watching, and until next time, eat plants, thrive, and live your best life!

Similar issues, my pain was in both of my first knuckles, excruciating pain, not constant, some days worse than others, and knee pain when going downstairs. I went plant based and within a month the knuckle pain had stopped. The knee pain stopped after several months and the loss of 50 pounds. I was never a big dairy eater, for me I believe it was oil, which is also inflammatory. If I have a cheat day or two consuming unhealthy vegan comfort foods, the pain in my knuckles will speak to me within 2-3 days which is enough to get me back in line eating healthy whole food plant based meals. My only regret is not changing my lifestyle sooner! I love the creativity involved in making wonderful vegan meals. I am still in awe of how I make the most delicious cheese sauce out of oatmeal and nutritional yeast every week!😊

My daughter was only 6 at the time and I decided I would do all I could to reduce my chances of cancer in the future. I felt so good, I have never looked back. I do, however, eat some fish. The best plant I can recommend for plant based lifestyle is the "Purslane" plant. Technically a weed, it is loaded with DHA and ALA. It has more omegas than salmon, and better for you than spinach. I have a pot in my garden and eat it regularly. The neighbours think Im daft for eating my weeds, but when I am jumping rope at 97 years old looking amazing, Ill have the last laugh! HA HA

Good luck. I collapsed with severe heart failure. They revived me twice in the ambulance and told my family there was less than a 10% chance I would survive the night. It will be 10 years this Saturday. I was put on bedrest for 6 months and full recovery took 2 ½ years. Be kind to yourself, and definitely ask about diet. Two main things that are vital is limiting your sodium intake and following your fluid intake. Most people refuse those and make recurring trips to the ER. My heart function is now low normal, far better than that first night. Just don't worry. It cuts into your sleep. We only heal while we sleep.

I'm 58 and most of my life slim until last year or so. I made the change to mostly plant based less than a month ago and have lost 8 lbs. so far. I am averaging 2 lbs a week. But weight loss aside i feel so GOOD and that is what I am really after. Getting and feeling healthy. I no longer have junk food, proceed food cravings. I really enjoy the meals I'm eating and look forward to them. I crave them now. I would stress eat sweets at work. Now I pass them up and do not feel deprived. I get what my body needs from the real living food I'm eating now. I dont have head aches, brain fog, odd body pains, mood swings, night sweats, I called them meat sweats. I started walking 30 minutes a day and now I need to walk, meaning I have so much energy my body wants to get up get out in nature and walk. I love that time outside, it resets me. Having a variety of you tubers that have this same weight loss, plant based, encouraging meal ideas ...lifestyle is what motivates me encourages me, has helped me. I dont have a lot of support from friends or family. I actually get sabatoged from them. But I'm staying focused and see what they are doing and i will not allow them to trip me up anymore. Keeping a daily journal of what I i eat, how much i moved and notes about how i feel, any changes I would make and why, recipes i find to try... These things, God and you mighty friend have helped me. Many thanks for helping me get my health back. I have a ways to go but i know i will get there!

I'm 52 and in perimenopause, I've been whole-foods ethical vegan for 10 years and am so grateful that I did this favor to myself! lol I seldom get hot-flashes and other hall-mark menopause symptoms but I do get some fatigue and odd periods. My weight is maintained effortlessly while eating until I'm completely satisfied (yes, sometimes I stuff myself), I never diet but I don't eat processed/ fast foods either - also I'm eating more organic soy foods (edamame & tempeh) and cut out added oils. I exercise 5-6 days per/wk and sleep 7-9 hours per/night. I meditate and hydrate. I feel good almost always. My bloods tests are good. Viewing the world through vegan eyes, I've become more compassionate overall. The only regret I have is why oh why didn't I know about this lifestyle when I was younger!!

Earing half a slice of bread was like throwing petrol on a barbecue. The same low carb, animal protein diet was the only thing that previously calmed my irritable bowel.

@@caroloshea7830Lots of these people on the so called “Carnivore Diet” have given it up. They reported the following: heart palpitations, vitamin C deficiency, low glucose levels at night, digestion problems, the men in particular reported low testosterone levels, and low libido. We’re not carnivores. The literature regarding the benefits of a whole foods plant-based diet is solid and clear. When people give up on meat, dairy, and eggs, and consume whole plant foods, their health becomes better.

I regained the ability to walk by going vegan, which was in 1999. I’d been told in 1994 that I’d be in a wheelchair within a few years, and I was actually housebound. I went vegan partly for the animals, but mainly out of desperation. And it helped a lot! I still have chronic health conditions, but I’m in better health now than I was thirty years ago. It’s so sad to read comments from people who stopped being vegan because they didn’t feel good - really they could have worked out what nutrients they needed and got them from the right vegan food. It can take a little while to get it right! I love the word vegan, which was invented by a gentle wood-turner in 1944, though I understand your compassionate reasons for using the term plant based. I’m going to have a look at your recipes now!

Yes, my body started asking for a vegan diet around 2 years ago. I had been a vegetarian in the past and already knew my body thrived on it. My blood tests were the best ever, my nutritionist couldn't get over how it was better than hers 😂!So, I decided to transition back to vegetarian, then to vegan. Had to do it in steps, cause I don't cook, it was too expensive for me to eat properly buying ready made food, but I've finally worked out a good system and am "plant based" now 😊! I feel great and more in harmony with myself and nature. Thanks for sharing your experiences and recipes! Have just subscribed!

New subscriber.. good info… but I’d like to mention that a whole food plant based dieter doesn’t need to worry about getting all their nutrients. A standard American diet is way more deficient in these things, and they don’t worry about that. Just wanted to mention that because a new person might be discouraged by that thought. Sounds a little “you must be careful or there will be something wrong”. Not saying you meant it that way, but could be interpreted that way and scare people off. I’m a biologist.

Because of severe allergies I am unable to eat any canned , boxed except for organic rice.oats , flour and pasta, I cook everything from scratch and freeze ingreds. so a few days during the week I don't have to do anything other then thaw something. I do also cook for my husband who will eat vegies and salads but also small amounts of chicken and lean pork. I am unable to use commercially prepared plant or almond milks because of the thickeners added so I do use small amounts of lite cream in my ooffee. I can't say I've ;ost weight but yes I do feel better all over and actually sleep better also. I too am a hugh fan of the golden cherry tomatos. Thank you for sharing your life. Be Well

I am also not a recipe creator but tested hundreds of recipes and tweaked them or improved them. But success comes if you can do all x3 successfully. So i drooped the while helping others for a living thing. It was exhausting trying to battle through helping those who said they were ready but weren't. Never sold a course or coaching in 18 months! Love fruit, legumes and nuts too. Glucose Goddess suggests having veges for breakfast with protein next then carbs then something sweet during the day. It helps keep the glucose spikes balanced and helps with sugar cravings. It is working well for me. I now need to fast more regularly. Thanks again 🤗💖💯💖🤗
