@@StrateleStudios Sir, as AJ mentioned in her Christmas Special, she hurt one of her feet last year. Since then she is very cautious where she walks. In this shop, for example, lots of dirt comes in from the street and glass splinters from the chandleers could lay around on the floor. Elmar from Germany. Peace.

At 15 she did TikTok versions of "Love is a game," "Sign of the times," "Endless love," etc..(guess I could have just said check our her TikToks).

You said you were surprised by how good it was. Well forget about being surprised by anything she does. She is going to give you something surprising with every offering you hear of hers. She will do nothing but surprise you every time she puts something out. Get used to it.

..Here we have an amazing vocalist who really understands what she's doing..from technique & arrangement ,to a love of the artists that performed before her...she has built a solid foundation & jettisoned forward with her immense talent & interpretation to present us with the finest music and style that we ever would hope to hear..Props to her family who've guided her on this course & hope that we always enjoy this level of creativity & excellence going forward..In my opinion, being well known & having notoriety means nothing..this journey is about quality music that will last forever & Angelina is the gatekeeper..

As was implied by the video she can take any old masterpiece and make it current and her own as a new masterpiece. She is a legend in the making. She has the ability to give us a Duende experience every time.

Angelina’s magic. She is only 16 and sings like a true artist. She special and we are fortunate to hear an artist like Angelina. No one like her.

Angelina’ s voice and the piano come through crystal clear and with power from the first notes. The older of the children in white looks like Angelina’s very cute sister. Hi there - yesterday i finally arrived in Sandefjord Norway now 1 day away from Angelinas last concert where i will meet many other Angels and of course my Granddaughter by heart on stage - so exciting - to the song: oh my Lord did you hear that Power and richeness and that bluesy undertone when she streches the lines - the gorgious Set, the hintes to Elvis and Pricilla - i think she tells the story from a little sad and excapting female position when Elvis has done the male position (everything will be ok one day) Angelina is right now the greatest of All time already period - i just wished to be 40 years younger about 6.3 feet tall handsome and go into the same school she goes - the guy or girl she will end up is so damn lucky.... but he has to be behaving himself because Angelina has millions of dads and granddads who will have their eyes on him or her and will cross oceans to enforce that behavier - Angelina has done her first regular concert July 1. and there are Fan Videos out there - pls do Suspicious Minds i think it is her last song and she got very emotional at the end - priceless to watch - highly recoment tishues - by the way i got her book "Mellom to hjerter" and i Translated it to German - oh man i had to fight tears - very hard - a book of a 9 year old girl so well and honest with the Story of the little girl her age she called Princess (she dont get her real name) - doing her school homework on a street in Teheran (i guess) while earning money with a bathroomwage to feet her siblings - a girl with a late mom and small brother Dead because they could not afford medical attention - this girl not begging but working during a cold rainy day with no shoes and injured feet - people passing her looking down with superstition. this is the Real Story from her diary at age 6 why Angelina gave her shoes to the girl - pls guys purchase her book and read it - it is outstanding stuff and we all can learn a lot - the wonderful pictures of Madame Zamany add also much to the storytelling too - you got to buy it belive me - cheers from Germany now Norway..

Watch the Norwegian Talent show first, where this was sung by Angelina for the judges’s cut - a capella! All the singing contestants had to go in front of the judges (no audience) and sing a capella unless they played an instrument themselves. The producers put her last of everybody, which was nice of them, frankly! Looking forward to your next Angelina reaction.

it would be unfair and not productive to compare or to judge Angelina in any way,,,,but if in this century any singer male or female is extra ordinary in its true meaning its by far only Angelina as a complete phenomenon or we might just say she is an angel among us humans

Really enjoyed the reaction. You are going to discover that every time Angelina performs it's a jaw-dropper. She has a way of reaching out and grabbing you and holding your attention throughout. I call her the goosebump queen. I have watched her progression since she was six years old and the development of her voice year over year has been astounding, considering she could already reduce grown men to tears at the age of seven. I hope you stick with her, you will enjoy the journey. Like most of her long time fans (we're called "Angels") we expect this to be the year she really breaks out with her first album under Republic Records. I can't suggest a favorite because I literally have a hundred of them.

I highly recommend that you watch Angelina’s 2016 and 2022 renditions of “My Funny Valentine”. Both performances stand on their own as being outstanding. Angelina was ten years old in the 2016 performance and she was sixteen in the 2022 performance.

My friend, I noticed I was already a subscriber to your channel so I must have seen your previous video's of Angelina. Let me tell you this, I could see how emotional you were getting and your reaction was so genuine, this may sound crazy but I was getting goosebumps watching you! No lie! Of course, even though this video has been out only a short time, I have seen it hundreds of times already and I love it as much as you do. Oh my goodness, you need to see so much more of her work. Don't shy away from when she was much younger (7,8,9,10) because some of her video's are spectacular. I can’t help but hear some Adele qualities BUT Angelina has more colors in her timbre, interpretation . Like Adele, a stripped down accompaniment shows off her stellar vocal delivery and a greater emphasis on storytelling, even more than Adele IMO. Her grandmother Mery Zamani aka Mosarz instilled in Her two things the love of Jazz and her humanitarianism, like her grandma Angelina has performed all over the world raising millions for different charities and causes, of course her grandmother does art exhibits but usually donates proceeds to charities. Angelina wrote a book on why she performs barefoot making her the youngest published author in Norway. Her stats are over 1 Billion views on KZread and 2 1/2 billion views on Facebook. To be really impressed listen to her at 7 and 8 .

My interpretation of the symbolism of this music video: First, and foremost; Angelina Jordan at 16 is the epitome of a Storytelling ARTIST, and she has the ability to take us by the hand and lead us down an imaginary path that we visualize as reality. The remarkable fact is that we experience this in each of her performances. In this video we see her as a married woman in her mid to late 20s. As AJ sings the phrase “Were caught in a trap, I can’t walk out” we see 3 small children, this to me is a marriage where the children come first. If it were AJ by herself, she would not stay in a relation without trust.

She’s 16. IMO she is the best vocalist in the world.

The song was written by Mark James. In the Wikipedia entry of the origins of the song, he is said to have remarked "That late one night, he was fooling around on his Fender guitar and using his Hammond organ pedals for a bass line and came up with what he thought was a catchy melody. At the time, he was married to his first wife but still had feelings for his childhood sweetheart, who was married back in Houston. James's wife had suspicions about his feelings. He felt it was a confusing time for him and that all three were "caught in this trap that they could not walk out of." Other singers covering this song invariably base their performance on that of Elvis, in that it is very "upbeat". Angelina took a very different path in that she read and understood the lyrics and what Mark James intended when writing them . To my mind, her rendition is much truer to the emotions of the song. The children appearing in the video were Angelina's cousins Aurora (first) and then Athena - daughters of her uncle Michael Astar, and then her sister Juliette. I would hazard a guess that they were included to emphasise that children are very important to Angelina and her family. Confession! I have never been a great fan of Elvis Presley, although I do like some of his earlier recordings, and I had never heard of the song "Suspicious minds" but knew that Angelina would completely take ownership of it, and she did. It was beautiful. After listening to it several times, I decided to download the lyrics to see whether she kept to the original structure. She didn't, and the song is all the better for it. For me, that she started with the Bridge of the song is very significant and, I feel, very indicative of Angelina's "up front" transparency. She was declaring that it was important that their love did not die, and then carries on to say why she feels as she does. Others first say how they feel and then, almost as an afterthought, assure their love they don't want it to end. For me, it is whether I feel the singer is genuine about the situation and wishes it could be resolved or whether the singer understands the situation but thinks the blame is on her/his partner but feels the need to assure them they don't want it to end (until somebody else comes along). I paste below the order in which Angelina sung the verses. "Suspicious minds" Angelina Jordan - lyrics rearranged. I knew had only seen a couple of Angelina videos so even before you started I thought boy, are you in for a treat. Yeah! She’s something special, isn’t she? Pure Velvet Perfection! This vocal arrangement was all Angelina, I have no doubt in collaboration with a stellar team including Rob Christie & Mery Zamani her Grandmother. She is a Master Storyteller. The video is shot in the same Antique Store that she did 'My Funny Valentine' on Valentine’s Day. I believe it is in LA near her home. I believe the girls in the video represent Angelina's Journey from infancy to present through the classics of music history. Thus the Antique store, She grew up studying and performing these classics. Did you notice that right foot raise it''s heal to cradle the guitar a couple of times in the performance. I was waiting for her to throw in a little shake to it in homage to the King. Could that have been intentional? That is Rob Christie on piano. Sister Juliette and a couple of Uncle Michael's Babies. I have watched a lot of you r reactions, and all of your reactions to Aurora, but I can't recall having seen you this excited and almost lost for words before. Which tells me that I'm not the only one that hear what I hear. (Or I should maybe say her existing fanbase and me..LOL) And here comes a rather cliché thing to say, but at least when it comes to Angelina, it is the absolute truth : You haven't seen anything yet. She has roughly 160 covers and originals out, and I mean from the bottom of my heart that there are NO sub par performances by her. I'd even venture to say that many of her covers surpass the original version. A very subjective opinion, I know, but one that I share with all of her fans. She has covered more than 80 different artists, spanning 8 genres. She has been able to capture the essence of so many of the greats before her, and even refined it, making her stand out as one of the greatest musical geniuses the world has seen IMO. Quincy Jones even said so himself when he was interviewed on the occasion of his 80th birthday anniversary, where Angelina performed in the O2 Arena in London. Quincy, who produced the first 3 Michael Jackson albums, said that Angelina was the greatest talent he had seen since Michael Jackson. BIG words and praise. I was definitely caught off guard by this one after seeing the other two videos. The growth and sophistication in her performance was breathtaking. It’s evident that her body of work shows how dedicated she is as an artist and all of that hard work has paid off. If this is her at 16 I can’t imagine her at 25 🤯

I'm going to blow your mind a little more.... You first saw her at 7 and here she is 16. At 7 she was amazing and the growth in the past 9 years is incredible. Here is the mind blowing part: here voice will not fully mature until her mid twenties. That's another 9 years. So the jump she made until now, she will make once again and I cannot imagine what that will mean apart from that it is sublimely exciting. For now I am going listen to her past and current work and a new album is coming out. Exciting stuff!

Thanks for another great reaction to & appreciation of Angelina's masterful reinterpretation & performance of this Elvis Presley classic song at age 16. Truly an amazing tribute to Elvis - including Angelina's beehive hair reminiscent of Priscilla along with her black leather jumpsuit & red Hagstrom guitar as Elvis used in his comeback tour. Definitely a family production - the Executive Producer Mery Zamani is Angelina's grandmother, the 2 youngest girls are her cousins & the older girl is her younger sister Juliette. While you've now been able to watch & hear Angelina at 9, 13 & 16 - I still highly recommend going back to all 4 of her Norway Got Talent performances (Gloomy Sunday, I'm A Fool To Want You, Bang Bang & Summertime) - at ages 7-8. Puzzles both of us, how she produces that voice! Amazing! What i think it is, she can do that breathiness ON TOP of the powerful projected voice. Never heard anyone else able to do that, but there it is ... BTW, she was 16 in January 2022.

Angelina only singing without shoes, but outside from stage she is with shoes...when she was 6 years old , she met the young girl about the same age, who didn't have a shoes...Angelina gave her shoes to that girl and said she will never sing with shoes on any stage, until every child in the world will have shoes.

Check out the 1969 Elvis special. He wore a leather suit and used a red hollow guitar. The hair is Priscilla Presley's behive hairdo she wore in the 60s.

You have watched three Angelina songs and been amazed at each one. But for your next one, you don’t need to wait until she releases something new. There’s over 100 out there, basically from age 7 to now at 16. I’m going to disagree with you somewhat. You talked about how much her voice has developed. Yes, it’s beautiful and more resonant now, but her younger performances are just as astonishing. My personal favorite of younger Angelina is my recommendation. A Million Years Ago, an Adele cover, is Angelina at 12 in a style you haven’t seen. It’s acoustic, with Angelina and Ivan, her guitar accompanist, sitting at home. Angelina is reading the lyrics as she sings, but she makes you forget the Adele version. I’ve listened to a lot of music in my life, but when I heard this, I realized that she was the best singer I’d ever heard. It’s a staggering, emotive performance that hits so hard. Don’t pass up younger Angelina- any age, any genre. You’ve only opened the door just a crack.

The antique store has appeared in 3 AJ songs ("My Funny Valentine", "I Have Nothing - video" and "Suspicious Minds") all recorded in 2022. Angelina was born in Norway 1/10/06.

Absolutely what I expected. She made this her own song and she did it beautifully. I noticed Juliet sitting there she is going to be as beautiful as Angelina one day. Elvis' version is great and it always was, and it still is one of my favorites. but Angelina's version is equally great and is definitely her own. When I first heard this song I loved it and put it at #3 on my playlist (Angelina Jordan Playlist by Terry M.), about midday I moved it up to #1. The main thing that changed my mind was the power in her voice. I'm not talking about loudness I'm talking about the power she has regardless of how loud or soft she sings. This is a quality that I haven't heard from anyone in my 82 years. This voice has become so unique that it is totally unmatched. Her phrasing in the last bridge is great. And she got Elvis’s ‘Oh Yea’ at the end of the song. The pianist is Rob Christie (3 Grammys), he is the head of the Republic Record department that is responsible for Angelina and other singers. It makes me happy that someone of your stature and background is totally taken by Angelina... More or less mean's I'm not Crazy to love her has much as I do. Now that you've listen to the most current thing... I would highly recommend her debut on the world stage at Age 7 "Gloomey Sunday" (With English subtitles). When I first saw it, I didn't quite understand what I was listening to, my mind didn't allow me to comprehend the genius of the performance (it was just out of reach). But as Angelina continues to refine what is possible in my mind, I find I am more blown away by it over time. Age 7 and giving the world the Goosebumps .

It's only about 10 minutes long, and while there are no subtitles, the audio and video are both excellent. And it shows her winning the show at the end. Her prize equaled about $80K at that time, and she promply donated all of it to charity. That's just the kind of person she is.

It is one of about four recordings, but it is possibly the last one she did there. It shows just how much she understood music at that age. @@StrateleStudios I add my vote for Angelina's audition of Gloomy Sunday on Norske Talenter (Norway's Got Talent). I am aware of 3 Angelina videos that went viral. You've reviewed two of them: I Put A Spell On You and Bohemian Rhapsody. Angelina's Gloomy Sunday performance at age 7 is her first video to go viral. You get that one in and you'll have completed the "hat trick." Wouldn't hurt to brush up on your Billie Holiday beforehand if your memory needs refreshing.

With this song, this video, we can hear Angelina maturing into her adult voice. The talent has always been there, but now she's not imitating anyone, trying out different styles. We now see her and hear her as herself, and it is glorious. Go back just two years to the black and white video for her ORIGINAL song Million Miles, and you'll see what I mean.

She turned 16 in January ‘22. I read that that was Elvis’s guitar and his black leather jacket (obviously on loan). The other recent video you should watch is My Funny Valentine from February ‘22. Currently, there are also a couple performances from her concerts in Norway this summer you should see: Bohemian Rhapsody and I Have Nothing which she also performed at age 13. Have fun!

@@dianedove1000 The red guitar Elvis used was borrowed from Al Casey who was one of the session players on the 1968 comeback show. Elvis didn't own it. It sold at auction last year for $625k. Loaned for the video shoot? I doubt it, especially when replicas are available for $1400. As for the leather jacket, at less than 115 lb., do you think a jacket worn by a 170 lb. man would fit Angelina that well?
