Great video, I've watched the racing videos, looks like a lot of fun, wish there was a track close to me in Surprise Arizona.

If I was building a drag slash I would've built this. Nice video!

Really look forward to where this series goes from here. Not a lot of slash oval setup videos out there that I’ve been able to find. Great job and be looking for the next one.

Hi Mark, great channel I truly enjoy the content you put out for us to watch and learn from! I am looking to build a couple cars for my son and I. I’m looking at Traxxas Slash online and there are several different variants. I just want to be sure to buy the right models for us. I’ve been looking at the 1:10 scale 2wd would this be the correct? Just bought my slash today.

I'm like everyone else here. I have my 2WD Slash chassis ready. I'm just waiting for the "Speed Secrets" video. Can't wait! Great video Mark. :)

I saved the new slash in the box just for the setup series. I will be sharing all my setup secrets. You will get a lot out of setup #2.. i promise. Hang in there, but now you have a video if a friend wants to gets started

jbodyrc website is currently under construction but will be up soon.. scale speed hobbies on facebook is getting setup to do wraps for jbodyrc and others

Got a question. Most of the guys where I race, run slash front wheels all the way around. I believe the fronts have a different offset making them a little wider. Is there an advantage in doing that versus running fronts in the front and rears in the rear, or even rears all the way around?

I run fronts on the rear and rear on the fronts.

There is a couple I saw on Facebook groups. They are more in central Jersey near Springfield and Jackson nj

St Louis Area there are 1.Cottage Hills Illinois R/C Raceway 2. County Line R/C Raceway Valles Mines Missouri 3. Slideways R/C Raceway Brownstown Illinois 4. K-10 Maryville Illinois Closed this year because of covid All of these tracks are within about 1 hour of St. Louis

I use the Duratrax posts on my drag cars... Anyone else use them, and notice how off-center (and crooked) the holes are in the bottom of some of them?!?! Great posts... other than that. I don't know why they have such an issue with that.

That would be exactly the same as what you have there, just with different wheels and still have the SPEC tires on it. Personally I guess I hate the all chrome wheels I guess. And also some of the different bodies are more valuable than others and you can sell the body that came in the box for a decent price on Ebay.

Too bad you can’t use the LCG chassis, so much better...but I understand the idea/concept of the class

To bad you cant find them new under $250 now... and used are stupid pricey on eBay.

That would be exactly the same as what you have there, just with different wheels and still have the SPEC tires on it. Personally I guess I hate the all chrome wheels I guess. And also some of the different bodies are more valuable than others and you can sell the body that came in the box for a decent price on Ebay.
