Traxxas, You should do a conversion Mudboss video. Most stock traxxas 2wd dirt oval cars are Mudboss. With tips on shock oil,shock limiters,gearing and basic tuning tips. That would really help out the newbie that has plans on getting into a traxxas slash dirt oval Mudboss

It does

That's not an East Coast Modified style body. It's a Midwest Modified style body. Many tracks will allow them to run together though, especially in novice or sportsman classes.

Thank you I already have the TRX4 Defender, now you've given me a good reason to buy the slash. We have baseball diamonds and the ground is pretty flat and dry. I dry my Rally cars there. Now something new and exciting to try. :)

I've got a rustler vxl a slash 4×4 and a slash 2Wd and I have almost 1500$ in them that's ridiculous but it's a addictive hobby

PLEASE HELP!! I’ve crashed my traxxas slash while going extremely fast and now it won’t turn on (other parts I can replace) So I have a castle esc, traxxas 2 cell lipo, castle motor and now the esc won’t even turn on

You may have a bad switch on your Castle speed controller. This has happened to me with every castle speed controller I ever owned. What I do to fix it is cut off the switch and splice the 2 little switch wires together. This bypasses the switch entirely and now the ESC will turn on as soon as you plug the battery in.

I plan on turning my slash into one of these I’m asking where do I get the materials to build a body like this

im not traxxas but maybe i can help. are you running the factory wheels and tires? anything larger or heavier can cause issue. if so make sure your steering linkages are set up and adjusted properly. check for load on your servo when the vehicle is at rest wheels forward. also check that the screw holes that mount the servo aren't stripped allowing it to move.

Spartan Gamer get a BEC I have the Castle Creations 10 amp set at 6.0v and my steering servo lasted 7 months. It worked great until I got caught in a bind and did not get it out in time. Yes they are not the strongest but the stock esc burns them all out by being underpowered 1 amp is not going to work for long. I have now upgraded to CC SW4 and a Holmes Hobbies Revolver sensorless brushless motor and HH HV500v2 servo. Perfect setup for the TRX4 IMO. A stock setup w/BEC will last for months. But you do have to do a monthly teardown and lube the entire drivetrain otherwise more servos will brake along with other parts. Especially when driven in water/mud.

people have been complaining about traxxas servos but ive been useing traxxas for over a couple years now and over days worth of drive time, plenty of broken parks but no fryed servos.

Poor dash turning it into a oval car.. My slash would hate me for that lol

not the point of this, its only made for going in an oval. That's why they call it "Oval Racing"

Better show the female traxxas employee to showcase that women participate in RC just as much as men.

Those slashes would not last at an actual event except for maybe novice which is why they race there own class
