Must be one of those Broadcast Editions I've heard them...talk about...so much...late-ly.
Aired April 4, 1992 at 12:30am. Friday night into early Saturday morning.
We're circling back and clearing through some backlog of Comedy Central reruns (and maybe a few other premieres or near-premieres).
This is from the end of the beginning of 2nd year of Comedy Central. In its prime. Watch for lots of nostalgic commercials!
Including: Sally Struthers asking if you want to make more money (sure, you all do); or at least guaranteeing that you will (you won't). Horses selling beer. The Halls of Medicine. Stu-Stu-Studios. A Stephen King movie no one remembers starring Shelly from Twin Peaks. A bunch of broad Italian stereotypes sell pasta sauce. And Wayne Brady(?) in a Burger King commercial.
Beforehand look for a tiny sliver of Night After Night with Alan Havey, and at the end another tiny sliver of SAST with Jon Stewart.
Check back here roughly every week-ish (ha!) for more broadcast versions of MST3K episodes.

Ty for sharing these episodes, I’m loving these old commercials too.
“Gamera is friend to all children!” I remember as a kid feeling bad that “Kenny’s” dad and….. older sister (?) made him toss away “Tibby.” As an adult…… eh, yeah, I can see why a lot more now. It DOES make up for that emotional song from Servo though. And yeah, those Sally Struthers commercials, while definitely promising careers (I would have loved to be a VCR technician while those things were still current had I not been just a small child, lol)…… aren’t really promising to make you more rich.

Tom was just trying to sing a song, and Crow comes in and pulls that on him. Crow may be my favorite character, but that was a bit far.
Are we gonna see the other Gamera movies being broadcasted in 1992?
