@@Mibbitmaker I had questions about Soapy wearing jewelry. He had big man-rings on his fingers on both hands. Soapy's legs and arms are bare, I assume, because he's normally an inanimate object so he isn't buying pants anywhere. But he's got, what? a class ring and a superbowl ring? It threw me out of my suspension of disbelief. Soapy's world makes no sense to me.

Poofy shirt? Check. Tights? Check. Mid-Atlantic accent? Check. I loved Soapy in the local community theater's production of "Much Ado About Soapy" (although he was equally good in "The Taming of the Soap", and "Soap-eo and Juliet") Most scholars agree that Shakespeare's "OCD" phase, while odd, was still entertaining. To bathe, or not to bathe, that is the question.

I went to the “Mothra” show, but I don’t remember this. I must have been late. I hate to say it, but their riffs on Godzilla-related movies have never been very funny. Strangely, the Gamera episodes and riffs were always better.
