I'm a A Seventh-Day Adventist Christian and I almost cry listening to their song, that's actually one of my favorite Adventist hymns. I hope that I can visit the Island one day and worship with them on the Sabbath day❤.

I have now binged watched your Pitcairn posts. I really liked them. You did a great job.

I missed this place pitcairn island we did sometimes to pass this island once we have cargo for australia from europe...its a long voyage for us to reach our destination but we never forget to stop by for a couple of hours just to see this beautiful island PITCAIRNS.. i am a filipino sailor..if you can remember our ships has this brown and green color below the deckline. i work on a ship for 12 years in a dutch company...all their ships has this GRACHT last name...they have ALPHA, ECHO, DELTA, STYPE SHIPS..,wish i could go back here...its my unforgetable experience seeing your beautiful island...

Am frm the Philippines but resides and works in the middle east. This little paradise is in my bucket list ❤️

Check out episode 2 :) the basics are you need to get to Tahiti. 6 hour flight. Most likely wait 2 days for the next flight to Managareva. And then a 2 and a half day boat ride to Pitcairn

How about weather in the island? Ist that very hot all time? How about rain?

The weather is sub tropical. In winter it got down to around 18 degrees celcius. During summer it can reach 35 degrees. The rains generally happen in winter and summer can be a drought.

Are there any plans for an airstrip on the island? I know that St. Helena got one a few years ago.

They have looked at building one but it will take up too much space on the island. It also was not financially viable

@@bradbrown3447 Would be nice if Air Tahiti had more frequent flights to Mangareva and at the same time there would be more frequent sailings (maybe 2-3 times a week) from Mangareva to Pitcairn!

Yes that would be nice. Although it is 2 and a half days by ship so only one return trip a week is possible

​@@bradbrown3447 Maybe run two simultaneous sailings (each going in the opposite direction) during tourist high season? Better yet, the ships would have Air Tahiti codeshare flight numbers that can be booked in an airline reservations system ("flight" operated by a ship) and timed to "connect" directly to/from flights arriving/departing in Mangareva. An added side effect would be Pitcairn having it's own three letter "airport code" but without having an actual airport for airline reservation purposes!

Tell me please how is it possible to get there. I would like to go to Pitcairn island.

Check out my other videos :) episode 2 in particular. Unfortunately the only reliable way of getting there departs from French Polynesia. However most of the yachts come from Panama. Along with quite a few cruise ships.
