I am sure it was the trip of a lifetime. Thank you for sharing. I fear that life on the island will continue to diminish in spite of being more connected to the world with the availability of the Internet (their internet speed is better than I had here in California in 2003). We met several of the Pitcairn famines with younger children at our church many years ago. They were truly wonderful people. I have not seen any of the younger island members in recent videos. I am sure they have found life more appealing (and mates easier to find) in the wider world. I felt a little disappointed after reading your title to find that between 35 % and 50% of the film was the journey to and from the island. It makes for a nice travel movie, but not the documentary or study of the island I expected from the title. I have thousands of photos and videos that I would love to turn into movies like yours, but have not dug into the huge project yet. Congratulations on your nicely done visit down memory lane.

Thanks very much. I was lucky enough to stay with Tom & Betty Christian when I was there - Tom was the Great-Great-Great Grandson of Fletcher Christian. Sadly, he passed away in 2013.

@@bjmoose1 yes ... I saw a video of Tom on the radio. I can't believe Tom passed away....Truly incredible of the decendants that still exist.

@@jerryhansen5116It seems that is how people are these days. No response to history or interest of the past. History forgotten. Look at what's happening in the U.S. Statues from our past, representing our history, being torn down. Don't stop talking about it, Jerry!

@@jerryhansen5116 I too have been fascinated with the saga since being about 10. I'm 50 now. The facts that came to light revealing the place as the pedophile Paradise that it's always been has somehow still not halted things there completely. Wtf though. It's poison and it was from the outset.
