    Instead of "shooting" your safety goggles... try wearing them !!!!!!! Especially when shooting at that distance....

    Just by the sound, i can tell it has great power, thanks to the cam & cable system. I do not think it would puncture a pan from 50 yards or farther..... i might be wrong.

    Well an arrow losses very little energy over distance, so at 50 yards it will still have over 90% of its energy. But with that being said I am making a part two to this video I will shoot the next crossbow through 2 pans at 50 yards.

    Work out how to keep bolts straight in your "magazine" and put a foregrip on it

    You need to turn the glad around around and place it against the wall. It is too light. It just flew away.

    @@archery.customs how far it can travel? 400m? And how strong it is? Can it penitrate a thick strong object without breaking?

    Great job my friend. But sorry, mine was the most powerful homemade Crossbow. I sell it a few weeks ago and I'm still sad about it. But keep working on it, and congrats for your results

    @@archery.customs 426 fps my friend. 193 lbs. It was a real monster. It was so hard to co using a cocking rope, and impossible with just hands

    Wow that's fast, But I see what your saying about the draw weight. I do love cocking mine by hand and it is still fast enough to be lethal.

    Arrow has friction from top and bottom! U use carbon arrow?

    The friction is minimal you only lose a couple fps, And yes I only use carbon arrows.

    great project , but for a most powerful crossbow , you pull the sting easily with your hands without putting the face of the crossbow down , so i am not sure about the title of your video , specially after i saw you shoot in 2 meter range only , but still great job

    Some of the OG Crossbows had a 1200lb draw, but they weren't that great because they had a steal prod & had a very short table length, you would probably get more out of a modern 200lb.

    Challenge accepted. I'm pretty sure it could do it at 100 ft, but I have to put the crossbow back together first it is being used for something else right now.

    @@archery.customs why not metal what is the difference in using something like a leaf spring and fiberglass? Is fiberglass powerfull?

    @@gustverschelde9654 it's not about power or Force it's about efficiency of the energy delivered. Leaf springs are good at moving a lot of weight and not very fast, But fiberglass is good at moving less weight really fast. Look up draw force curve and it will make more sense.

    Arrows don't lose energy that fast in the air. It will still penetrate at 100 yards
