I have a sparring partner that comes forward with every combo, so I've often had to use the exact same thing your explaining in this video a lot as I step back blocking it also helps me see what is coming at me better, and of course I take an angle too.(instead of constantly going backwards in a straight line) I try to always step back then take an angle. Thanks for all you do JT and God bless you and yours

Drilled this is in the garage today. Felt a little awkward at the start but after just fifteen minutes of drilling, I felt awesome learning a new skill. This is amazing stuff man. Thank you! I suggest doing a video showing the same technique on the heavy bag. I really enjoyed doing this as I discovered that I can really load up on my hooks and crosses with this technique!

You just earned my sub brother, youve got some great content and just a little feed back ive seen your videos pop up several times and never even gave you the time of day, my mistake, but it was mainly because of where your at. If your interested in some constructive criticism, i suggest putting down some floor mats and maybe painting or putting up some posters to look as professional as the content your producing. Other than that, awesome content man.

I’m a lil confused of the foot work n blocks being the same arm blocking with the same foot stepping because in another video you have another drill where as u step ur head moves the opposite way as well as the opposite arm from the foot stepping like mike Tyson style what’s more useful n better to practice or are they both effective depending on the situation ?

  • @BB-fp9ce

guys, what is the name of the next movement. The opponent comes at you in small steps, when you hit him in the head, he raises his forearm, makes a slight incline, hits briefly (not sure) and repeats from the other leg all over again until he shortens the distance. It turns out that he is coming at you very quickly, taking blows with his hands held high against his head and instantly shortens the distance. But I don't understand how to synchronize arms and legs correctly here. It seems to me that Michael Tysen did something similar
