I agree. Women are almost NEVER held to account for what happens in the marriage. The courts almost always side with the woman. They take away his entire life's work and possessions because SHE wants out. If she wants out, go but without destroying who has provided for you all these years.

We were sitting on the bed (I was beat up by then)When he tried to stab me on my leg I jump up pure instinct, I stayed standing trying to figure out how to run. He tried stabbing me in my stomach I moved and the knife got stuck in the wall heater, I took of running and I know God unlocked the doors for me because all I remember is me in my front lawn running away to his aunt and uncle house cause it was close by, they didn't want to call the cops. He showed up there and I hid in yhe closet with the kids, his uncle told him yo leave and I run to my aunt's house and called the cops. None of my neighbors called the cops or came out to help me when he was beating me up 😢 He was 6'2 and 250lbs I was 5'4 and 99lbs, I was no match for him.

If you're in a relationship where domestic violence is a common occurrence take all your valuables & run but don't tell your partner/spouse the who, what, when, where, why you're going to run. In fact, leave out the "I'm gonna leave you" & "I'm taking the kids too" parts out totally when you're arguing with them. Never let them know what your next steps or your plans are. Run when they least expect it & don't look back. If it's come to this point, it's not love anyway it's only a bad habit.

It's incredibly difficult to comprehend the mindset of someone who would resort to such extreme and abusive behavior. Threatening someone's life, especially in a situation where emotions are heightened, is absolutely unacceptable and deeply disturbing. It's important to prioritize your own safety and well-being, and no one deserves to be subjected to such treatment. If you ever find yourself in a situation where you feel threatened or unsafe, please reach out to trusted friends, family, or authorities for support and assistance. You deserve to be treated with respect and kindness.

I am so pissed off he literally burned down her house and left threatening messages and they still let him buy himself out of jail. Its fucked. Her death would have been 100 percent possible and the trauma of that day would have 100 percent never happened if the detectives took his bullshit seriously. He stalked her, violated the protective order, and yet he was allowed to fuck around. Hope things have changed...

Oh hell nah if someone told me the only way I was getting a divorce is if one of us was dead, I would tell them KYS cause I’m not the one. Also, is it valid to please not guilty by insanity if he said it was planned 8 months in advance?

There are spirits, guardian angels, ancestors & higher powers working at the most uncanny times. Maybe it’s God for some, but a higher power, nonetheless. For Nancy, that showed itself several times, from the bullet he fired hitting the wall to the gun jamming, or from Richard randomly leaving her in the basement and the bolt miraculously coming out of the wall when it did. That’s the only word for all that, miraculous.
