i HAVE TO ADMIT, I HAD NO IDEA THIS WONDERFUL RECONSTRUCTION WAS IN PROGRESS. IS IT THE ONE FROM THE RAF OR DE HAVILLAND MUSEUM NEAR LONDON? I HEARD A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO, THAT THEY MAY DO THIS, AFTER THE WONDERFUL NEW ZEALAND SUCCESSES. FURTHER, MY NIECE WAS FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO ATTEND THE RAF 100 YEAR COMMEMORATIVE DINNER IN LONDON, FRIDAY 7TH SEPTEMBER. SHE MET AND HAD A SHORT CONVERSATION WITH JOHNNY JOHNSON. HE KINDLY SIGNED HER BROCHURE.

Hi Philip not the London one, It came to East Kirkby one year ago from Yorkshire Air Museum. Tony Agar has been working on this project for 47 years. for static display plus engine runs and taxying. There are two projects ongoing to get a mosquito in the air in the UK. check out on the net "The People Mosquito". Regards Nev
