Hi guys, greetings from the woods!
To prevent rust, I have forced patina on Morakniv 106 woodcarving knife in boiling vinegar. Here is short comparison with Morakniv Classic carbon blade how the blade looks after the patination process.

I like what you did to that 546... now that is a proper handle! Does it still work with the sheath?

Good question! It works with the sheath but not very good - there is a hole in the handle which snaps to the sheath, but it is not really fixed there. I use a rubber O strip from a bicycle tyre to hold the top of the handle with the sheath together or I carry it in a different sheath - either a leather one or one from Morakniv Classic.
