Mora Knife Rehandling:- Mora 106 Bait knife.

No great production on this video. Just a few phone clips chopped together of my friend Dane doing a very fast rehandle job for me on a Mora bait knife. Was on my way to Northern Serbia to do some Pike fishing. So I flew to see my mate Dane in Gostovar in bordering Macedonia. Literally had 3-4 hours before I had to catch the overnight bus from Skopje to Belgrade. Hence the rough-N-ready nature of this video.

_Brother Dane rocks! I have several and I'm making up the next parcel. One will be a carbon Garberg with some oriental walnut very similar to your yew Garberg. Tell me, does it still fit into the Garberg leather sheath?_

with a handle that smooth and no hand guard, I would worry about my hand slipping onto the blade and cutting my self. Especially if I was cutting bait, or cleaning a fish or animal. Otherwise the workmanship looks great.

Yeah, also a cultural think too. I was just at the Helle knife factory in Norway. Jan Helle told me that while the guardless knives sold well all over the world, The few knives they made with guards sold better in the US and couple other places. Interestingly, nearly all popular knives in Scandinavia (be it Denmark, Sweden, Finland or Norway) they don't have any guard at all. The models for say Kids, Scouts and Girl Guides do though. Thank you for your comment.
