That delicate sound is ethereal, gracefully fluttering like a butterfly, in a mode so gentle, sweet, and delicate that when it hushes, there's almost a fearful stillness, as if it has whispered away. Your interpretation of this classic piece perpetuates such a lingering fragile beauty. It's nearly impossible to refrain from tearing up in front of such a poignant experience. I'll buy a clarinet and learn how to play so emotionally. Thank you.
I have always felt this is the most romantic song ever.
I played this for my high school jazz band, and then again years later as a band director in a community jazz band... iconic... oh - I just listened to your whole performance - great, but where's the solo? that's the fun part!

@@cole7257 the clarinet solo part would be fine for an jazz band audition, but probably not for a classical/concert band...

Currently learning Clarinet in my school's band. I'm able to read the sheet music, I just don't know all the notes yet. I hope I can play it someday too! This is really beautiful.

I’m sure you come very far! This piece- especially the improv- is probably not something you’ll play as a beginner, but it’s definitely achievable with some practice. I’ve been playing for 10 years and I still learn new things every day, I’m trying to teach myself this solo to play at my wedding someday :) Good luck on your clarinet adventures! It’s an awesome instrument to learn 😎
Beautiful! You play the clarinet amazingly!👏
