The recording must have been running a tad too fast. The chart actually is in the key of E (concert D), which makes the solo even more astonishing.

I played this in junior high on Clarinet my band teacher Mr Morrison made me practice what seemed like forever every day for weeks. I played this to audition for a competition and got first chair. Was my go to song for all auditions after that. Got me first chair many times. Thank you Mr Morrison. Music had been a huge influence in my life all starting with him in the 5th grade.

Thanks! I tried to follow your right pinky because I really have problem when pressing keys especially when playing C# in arched position. Yours do not get arched, I would really appreciate it if you could give some tips for beginners. Thank you!

I remember this song from my childhood but could not remember the name. It was in a dream last night and I woke up with the song in my head, so I searched for clarinet songs as soon as I woke up. I found it in this video. Thank you so much!

Thank you, you should try and have the camera filming from above your head, as it would be nice to try and play along looking at the keys in the same direction as I/we hold our clarinets. I will play your video upside-down...lol

This is such a difficult technique to learn. There were a few in our music class who had mastered it but it's sooooo not easy at first.
