I could only play about 6 notes with a good tone within the first 2 months of learning and now i’ve been playing for 7 years (im a 10th grader now) and i can play pretty good now. All it takes is practice which i don’t do much of but you’ll get there just practice practice practice and i promise you won’t regret it.

Sometimes its difficult for me to switch over to violin after playing clarinet for a while but that might just be because I don't have a chance to practice violin as much anymore. My teacher would have stabbed you in the gut with your clarinet for doing that, she get really worried when someone uses their instrument. One time the tuba player rode on his case with the tuba and she threatened him with the bills of what the tuba cost. Edit: I am now in color guard, we have had two coaches one made us write the routines when she was supposed to write them. And the other writes the routines last minute and gave us a day to learn how to use boas and rings. She’s made all 3 of us cry and my teacher won’t get rid of her because she was the sub.

I only do the reed thing when I don't know the notes to a song, and pretend im doing something so my band teacher doesn't call me out. ✨

Especially in middle school

Depends a jupiter 20k clarinet wouldn't be but a yamaha is very good at I would buy one if your planing to stick to it

Hey I just rented a clarinet and so far its going pretty good its a jupiter model

“I CANT FIND A SINGLE GOOD REED” i felt that..

you forgot the one who cant stop squeaking theres a kid behind me in band who squeaks literally every 3 notes lol

I’m so happy that you did clarinet ( everyone does 14 types of pianists ) lol

I’m neither good nor bad at playing clarinet, yet I still somehow got into the advanced band at my school.
