    ​@sav-xy5od I'm a Gen X kid, 51 this year. I didn't raise my daughter the same way she raises her son, there is always new parenting ideas out there. In many ways my kid is a better mom than I was ❤. I understand your point though to, sadly lots of parents today act like their kids friends or just occupy their kids with tech toys rather than actually parent their kids or play n interact with them 😢

    To be fair,they did keep asking her what she thought and then she gave her honest opinion. Why did they keep asking? She is only 8. Should have not brought her, really, or just told her to smile and not offer "advice" even if asked.

    Indeed, it’s only to make what they think is good tv. I feel bad for the child. They’re encouraging her to behave like this, the editing enhances it, and it makes her (and her parent) look bad. She would probably feel terrible if she could read all the comments. I’m sure she’s a great kid.

Over the years I’ve observed many adults who do find that kind of behavior funny, precocious and have encouraged it. Sometimes those children grow up to be miserable adults when not given the attention they assume they deserve.

    My impression is that the groom is not the girls biological child. My own experience is that a single parent can get overly attached to their children so perhaps let them get away with things they wouldn't if the parent had a partner. It's clear that the Mom have made this child into diva and thought it was adorable. It will be interesting to see the dynamics when Mom shifts some of her attention to her new husband. If this is an only child that could really be rough.

    I really didn't think she was that bad. If you notice, most of the time they asked her what she thought, she didn't just start mouthing off. Then, yes she did say what she thought. In all fairness, they all know how she is, and they brought her to the appointment anyway, and none of them seemed bothered by her comments. so I'm sure she acted the way they thought she would.
