I have an idea for a diorama, a small mountain road with people walking on, further up, a rockslide is tumbling towards them and a large creature caused the rock slide.
@Ashy-te6bz

That large creature could be like a mountain lion?

This is the most well executed cave diorama I've ever seen! The greenish colors at the entrance really sell the look, I think. Keep inspiring us next generation of hobby KZreadrs, Boylei!

Totally agree. The cave looks very natural which is truly hard to mimic.
Even without the obligatory, Wild Imaginary West monster; this is one of the best cave dioramas (shadowbox?) that I have ever seen! The fact that the monster isn't immediately apparent makes this a well-executed "Delayed-Reaction Piece," that takes viewers a moment or two to realize that there is more to this excellent spelunking diorama than meets the eye. Looking forward to your next diorama!

i agree! the way it was shown also reminds me of one of thalasso hobbyer's dioramas where the process of making the monster was not shown at all so you didn't know it existed until the reveal at the end
I like to think that, Like other Octopi, the one on the pool is actually reasonably friendly. It's perhaps curious, but not actively hostile. Unlike the other giant monsters of the W.I.W, the Octopi are just as intelligent as their smaller cousins, and capable of emotional maturity. I think the cave dweller here is mostly just curious about this strange man and his portable light, and might even throw some rocks up onto the shore to see if it can engage in a passing exercise with this strange, not very well camouflaged creature.

Maybe it's even smarter then that of the regular octopi, with it's bigger body, obvious access to more food (if it has been able to surstain itself in a mostly closed cave system) and it's longer more dextrous tentacles, Maybe it's actualy as smart as that do-do like bird in the circus diarama (around the level of a perticularly smart dog), or even smarter like the Tulkun on A:TWOW, i mean if a whale can learn to say "Get Out" while in an aquareium, i bet you any money a simmilarly sized Cephalopod could do the same

My favourite friendly octopi is the kraken, it hugs every ship it sees with all of its love :)

@Repent and believe in Jesus Christ Jesus was the friendliest octopus.
The footage of regular superglue every time he says he's using foam-safe superglue is so funny 😭😭
As someone who has never made a single model that didn't look like a 5 year old built it, I am in awe of Boylei. every week he amazes me with a new creation that makes me feel so happy and so damned useless at the same time. Keep doing what works sir!
One of your best dioramas in my opinion. Well done, very simplistic but with tons of character.
I swear this man builds such cool things. And he uploads quite often as well. Great work!

He's the "Bob Ross" of Dioramas.
I love these types of builds, very big, very detailed, with the right amount of story and creepiness. The video is very educating, calm, entertaining and with a pinch of comedy. These videos will never get old, keep up the good work Boylei! (If that's your name)
_Beneath the town of Treason lay a vast network of caves and ravines; some flooded, others dry. Miners and adventurers alike delve deep into the earth in search of their salvation, but few ever return._
I like to imagine this is your version of the Oklahoma Lake Octopus cryptid. Except rather than lakes, it's deep underground pools. Excellent diorama! 👏
lighting is amazing bro, it's probably my favorite piece you have done
oh my god that first shot of the finished diorama with the lake reflecting the cave entrance was BEAUTIFUL. holy shit. this might be my favourite piece of yours to date!
I'd be all for a D&D session set in your Imaginary Wild West.

Definitely, it reminds me of The Hunt Showdown, so maybe using some guns from that could be interesting.
Hands down one of the best builds ever. The contrast between light and dark, colorful and bleak, and the just out-of-sight octopus that almost can't be seen is so nuanced it is perfect. Just perfect!
This cave is stunning, and I love everything about this build! I’ll watch it again with my mom to celebrate Mother’s Day 🙂. Thanks for what you do Boylei!!
Hey! Leo from Saint Louis here! Just saying I appreciated the cameo in todays video. You do you great work and I love the calming effect of your narration and construction. Keep up the great work!
So cool. Not just a hobby but that's talent. Impressive!
I’m the words of Director Krennick, “Oh, it’s beautiful.” Marvelously done. The water is just clear enough for the outline and smooth as glass as a lake in a cave would probably be.
You never know what lies below calm waters!!! Awesome job!!! ❤️❤️❤️👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
This is simply stunning! I also love that even though resin has been a pain in the past you learn from it and get better. It shows us that it's okay to try new things and even if you fail you can always learn from it and it was never a waste. Love this series.
In the end, the way you shoot with the camera was so amazing! Really looked spooky!
All of your diorama's are pure art. I appreciate all the videos you do and the small details!!
Another fantastic build from one talented gentleman!! 👏🏻 Love how the WIW is coming along
What an absolutely fantastic diorama and world building too. Thanks for all your awesome work!
Loved it!! 😍😍😍
Simply incredible, C! I love your airbrushing and color choices. The fact that you painted in a shaft of yellow light to pick up the natural light rocks my world man. Also, the mirrored reflection on the surface of the still lake water is beautiful. This is so inspiring. p.s. I saw a movie with Leo!! He was attacked by a bear and crawled like a billion miles back to camp while being attacked by ants, ravens, and other assorted biting insects. It's a pretty depressing film, but he made it... barely (pun intended). You would think that Leo would have learned his lesson and just retired, but apparently he's exploring dangerous caves now. Sigh. Some people. Insanely cool work!

the Colors the Blending the Depth! These then all reflected in the still water! The imagery all so realistic. I couldn't watch the documentary about Leo knowing it was a real life. But this one little snippet of Leo's life, as realistic as the film, brought tears!

Thank you so much for making these videos. Watching someone like you so skillfully create beautiful art works has inspired me, and I'm sure so many others to just sit down, and do art. Please keep the videos coming.
I just love how the way how talk it is so relaxing. Keep going king 👑
Your talent is truly on another level.
Your storytelling and diorama spark my imagination in such wonderful ways
I wanted to just say thank you for one thing in particular, I remember showing your wild imaginary west train videos to my grandfather, me and him watched it together and he loved it as we both shared an interest in model trains unfortunately, he passed away recently, but despite that whenever I watch your videos , it reminds me of him and all the joy he had on his face when he saw the finished product, it cheers me up. Thank you and love the build❤️
Absolutely beautiful!
Woah 😮🤯 Looks phenomenal! That cave lighting ❤
What a great build, I love the depth of this piece. Very atmospheric.
I adore the cave lighting in the back so so much, and i hope leo knows i love and support him and his wild west journeys
Wow, this was GORGEOUS. The cave was so realistic, the panning shot of the final piece gave me shivers!
The time and effort this man puts into his builds for our entertainment is insane!! We all owe him a big thank you for his dedication.
I love how you display your finished product. And getting to watch how you create your dioramas are fascinating and mesmerizing to me. Wow. I can get lost in your work.
What an amazing paint job, you just really set the atmosphere with a relatively simple paint scheme. You really do just make it look so easy, I love seeing it.
Outstanding work !!!
This is so high quality!
The level of story telling on your work is fantastic. If I found out you'd be making a movie around your wild west dioramas, I'd be in the theater in a heartbeat. Awesome work as always, my friend. Go's bless.
something so simple and beautiful about this one, it's so haunting. I love it!
Oh wow, what a blast from the past. I loved the "What about Bob" reference. It's one of my favorites.
This is beautiful 😍
My jaw dropped. Literally. As the cave came together. Ill never not be amazed by craftsmen... Craft expertise.
After watching your channel for as long as I can remember, you are well on your way, (if not there already!!), to becoming a master craftsman, a honed storyteller, and master manipulator of the visual arts. These short videos only encapsulate the monster amount of work that you must put into each one of your pieces. Than you for sharing what you do!!
I've been watching your channel for a long time now and this is one of my favorites you've done so far! Always excited when you post a new vid. Keep up the great content!
What a masterpiece. Top skill with proper storytelling. Thank you for the inspiration.
Your dioramas are just keep getting better and better, they all look super realistic to me. I even had goosebumps while watching your videos
Fun fact, that plaster-glue mix you make is basically gesso, which explains why it's such a good primer and painting surface.
This is so nicely done. It's more peaceful than spooky to me, even with the octopus. And the lantern, it's amazing what you can do at such a tiny scale.
This one was so simple but turned out incredible. Might be one of my new favorites. Thanks for sharing your talent.
This might be my favourite of the Wild Imaginary West series. The idea is so simple but looks so gorgeous. Well done!
Running gags never get old for me xD *sizzzle*
I love the lighting tricks with this one. One of my all time favorites.
So thoughtful. My son and I love watching all your videos. Keep up the excellent work! ❤
I love that you made a What about Bob reference!!! Love that movie!
By the way you have some of the coolest models I've ever seen in my life❤❤❤❤ I am obsessed
Another masterpiece Mr B. I’m a big fan of watching you creating these amazing dioramas- all with great backstories. Thank you.
Never thought I'd hear a "What About Bob?" reference here! Good one Mr. Boylei
I love your water builds so much. They perfectly speak to how I feel about bodies of water.
It’s nice to see someone who is not about to be unalived in a diorama! I hope this isn’t the last installment of Leo’s adventures
8:13 Oh man- That looks so f***ing GOOD. You have talent, no doubt.😁👍
Man you’ve outdone yourself.
I knew what regular super glue did to foam, but it's always nice to have that comedic timing of the melting for visual reminders.
Beautiful, I love that you can see a hint of the monster in the murky depths.
MIndblowing! I love the way the reflections work and his little light SO much!!! wow. xoxo
That may be your most evocative piece yet! Absolutely fantastic.
VERY well thought through. Untraditional and very effectful.
Every Boylei video I watch makes me motivated to actually do the T-54/55 model I bought 3 years ago but never did because I didn't have any good glue.
I love that paint job on the octopus. The blend from blue to pale blue gray, with purple/pink accents was a great touch. Your wildlife paint jobs are some of my favorite and you have a way of making it seem so casual. The whole piece is stellar. Well done!
I was excited to see this diorama ever since you gave a sneak peak in last week's project! Hope you do more reference stuff like that (and this project, for that matter)!
This is awesome Only way it could improve is with some old bones, maybe some ancient weapons scattered around and a gold vein
This is AMAZING! Love the greenish blueish paint job on the cave wall. I also love your resin work. And the lantern in Leo's hand really ties it all together. Thanks for making another amazing video!
This channel has really become something great. I always look forward to new videos and learning the lore behind the diorama.
I havent even started watching the video and i already know that this is going to be amazing. Your dioramas always make my day and fill me with wonder every video. I'll say this on behalf of everybody, thank you for making these videos.
Beautiful diorama. Also, I loved the super glue bit 😂
This one is fabulously lit. Usually they look good but this one is 10/10.
One of your best yet. I like the way you have many different layers of depth to it. Great job once again!
I love this so much. It's definitely my favorite. Simple and masterful
This kind of brilliant work, coupled with the humor, and story telling has got me going back to into the hobby. Thank you!.
The light shining into the cave is too cool! Very well done 👍
This could very well be your best work yet. Wow!
WOW!!! This has to be one of your best dioramas so far... simply amazing!!!
I absolutely love watching your videos. They’re so intriguing, relaxing, and just amazing. I especially love the dioramas with the hidden creatures. They all tell a story and my I imagination goes wild. Keep it up!
I immediately thought of the cave in Vietnam when I saw the thumbnail. Very nice job. The lighting through the opening is beautiful.
I hope we get to see more of Leo's adventures, it would be cool if he became a recurring character..
I think what I like about this so much, is that technically it's a very simple project compared to a lot of your other stuff. And yet its an extremely good representation of the reference you were going for. Well done as always
Amazing!
This is probably one of your best imaginary wild west dioramas to date. I would love to see you put all of the dioramas together into one huge landscape. Like a real terrain hobbies deal. That would be a cool collab!
Absolutely amazing!!
Always love your work, but this is among your best yet. The sense of atmosphere is phenomenal, from that inky-black lake to the lush greens of the background. I love that you provided some backstory for Leo, and it meshes well with the resulting build.
Once again i am thoroughly amazed at the depth of the lore for the imaginary wild west. Gotta get this set up as a tv show or book seried or something!
That is really cool. I wanted to make something similar and wanted to see what others had done for ideas. Your video was exactly what I was looking for. Thank you for posting it. You have given me inspiration.
it’s so much fun mixing things together to make art!!!
Amazing.
This is one of the cleanest and most realistic designs I have seen from you and I love everything you've done.
excellent idea
