@ChickensTabletopCrafting sent me a care package containing a beautiful handmade medieval tavern to add to a diorama.
I happened to have a nice big white dragon lying around that was just waiting for an opportunity to burn a tavern down.
Huge shoutout to Chicken for supplying me with the tavern and being a part of this project!

The idea to turn the switch into a fencepost was brilliant. It feels almost like those secret levers in old mansions.

And when flipped back it looks like it broke during the attack (or its just old and falling apart).

Would have loved it even more flipped around such that the light is off when the post is askew. Then, an unknowing person trying to ”fix” it back in place could be surprised by the fire lighting up XD

I would suggest dropping the rails down at the switch end of the fence so it doesn't look like they're floating when it's switched on. Excellent piece of art regardless 👍

Yes Sir Same Here!!! Just like the Abbott & Costello's or Vincent Price's horror movies.
The dragon being kept aloft by his own flames might be the single most impressive effect you've created yet, and the fence-post switch is so clever I almost can't believe it! Incredible stuff!
@LOVEMUFFIN_official

Not to mention that this is, by far and away, his best flame effect implementation yet.

And to add to that, the effect still looks nearly as great when the LED filaments are switched off, such is the high quality of the painting on the smoke.

It's a very cool trick indeed.
we need more fantasy/medieval dioramas
“This dragon hates merriment”. Well, then this dragon hates how I feel every time I watch a Boylei video! This collaboration is incredibly cool, and the dragon fire is straight up 🔥! Love this!!!
The way you suspended the 'flying' dragon AND the clever way you hid the light switch is nothing short of inspired! Your diorama really does Chickens Tabletop Crafting Tavern justice! Thanks for sharing this with us!
Using the fire to hold the dragon up reminds me of those “magic” water faucets that look like they’re pouring water with no plumbing. Elegantly done as always. Gotta admire the little motley crew defending their favorite watering hole. A good inn is worth its weight in gold.
With as epic as this build is, the thing that I enjoyed the most was watching you turn on the lights at the end by gently moving the fence post. Could this be the beginning of "Crazy Imaginary Medieval Town"?!?! A man can dream.
Others may thing I'm exaggerating, but I'm always left speechless seeing the end-result of your diorama... Amazing as always and so satisfying to watch.
Freaking awesome. Very clever way to make the dragon look like it’s airborne. Great collaboration build!
This feels like one of my older brother's artworks, his style is so cozy and fills me with nostalgia. Absolutely Wonderful!
Form is temporary, but class is permanent 🎉
It isn't Sunday till this man uploads
Your work and ideas are out of this world. I'd love to see you do a diorama of the 1953 War of the Worlds Martian tripods and attack scene.
Best fire blast effect I've ever seen. Incredible!
Great build. Love the Story it is telling. And great collaboration. It does not look like 2 people worked on the diorama ❤
This might just be one of my favourite pieces you've ever made!
Fabulous diorama! The whole thing is so great! Love the way the Fire breaks on the heroe's shield, love the dragon suspended in the air, love the little thief! And, the Tavern is amazing!
Amazing job!Especially when you throw that switch on....Oh my....!
The diorama is amazing, but the dragon's fire breath was top notch!
The levitating dragon looks magical 💜
Bro picked the wrong tavern to mess with. Also love dioramas that tell multiple stories at once, the guy sneaking out the back with stuff is a good little story that we could see happening in a crisis
Probably one of the best dioramas I’ve ever watched be made on KZread, I absolutely love this one
Absolutely beautiful piece of art! 👏 👏
Wow, those flames turned out amazing, just a great all round diorama.
This has to be the most "realistic" fire breathing dragon diorama I have seen on KZread. Congrats!
Your work is beyond cool and inspiring! I also love your humor when describing the build!
I like to think this takes place in the same timeline as WIW, but in the Medieval era of that world. Well done, sir 👏
Fantastic work, you really did Chicken's amazing Tavern build justice!
I could watch you build these awesome dioramas for hours! ❤ I feel like a few scattering sheep or a couple of pine trees would fit the background nicely🤔
Mannn I'm out of synonyms for *phenomenal*!!!!! Fantastic collaboration. So glad the felting needles and heat gun trick worked. If I do another filament+felt project, I've got to try the airbrush detailing - that gives such "fire" depth and character.
This is fantastic! What I really like is how you just don't build, but tell a story during the Diorama build and add comedy too! One of the best channels on KZread by far!
Idea I had: What if this diorama is in the same universe as the wild imaginary west but it just takes place in Europe much, much earlier?
That was sick. Another amazing Diorama my friend.
I always really enjoyed fantasy settings😊
And when i think you can't "elevate" the level of your creations more than you did already. BAM! You deliver. Love dragons and medieval fantasy dioramas. Amazing
One of the most glorious scenes you have ever made! Love it!
So awesome! You should definitely team up with a stop motion animator and all these fantasies to life!
One of your best creations yet! And the fence post lever was just genius.
Incorporating the switch into the scene as a fence post was dead clever! Definitely my favourite to date 😁
Ótimo trabalho! Curto muitos seus vídeos,um abraço aqui do Brasil!❤
Another fantastic piece. I was wondering if in your imaginary west. are there giant worms similar to the Graboids from Tremors or the sandworms from Dune? Would be interesting to see a diorama like that.
Oh man.... this is ridiculously INCREDIBLE 😭❤️
That looks nothing short of incredible. Hiding the support rod within the dragon's flame is a stroke of genius! 👍🏽👍🏽
As someone who plays too much D&D, a green coloured white dragon with a red dragons breath attack is... cursed. Saying that, this diorama is absolutely smashing!

Where do u get ur figurines from?
This absolutely RULES! the switch being part of the scenery is huge! Not to mention how dope the fire looks. And the dragon. And the tavern. And the landscape.
❤❤ WOW! Absolutely gorgeous!
Bro you have gotten so much more attention to detail since when I started watching about a year ago… keep it up !
Dang, I love watching this one - taverns, dragons, complimentary scrolls, hidden toggle - what more could you ask for? Nice job!
You sir. Are a true artist 😮
The flames/smoke look so good both on and off!
That dragon model has a special place in my heart! When I told my husband I wanted to get into painting minis with him (he was already interested in this stuff, and I showed him your videos. Turns out he was already a fan of yours!), he got that for the both of us to paint together. It took two years to find the color scheme that we both liked (my mind kept changing what colors I thought looked good) but we finally settled with a black dragon, with the wings and frills being this cool color-changing pigment of blue and purple. That dragon is on our shelf now, with our diorama projects. Thank you for all the lovely videos! Without them, I wouldn't have told my husband that I wanted to share in his hobbies in the first place.
Probably my favourite of all the dioramas you’ve made. The fire spewing out is absolutely gorgeous and genius at the same time!
WOW Awesome ! to watch this dragon come to life, enjoyed it.
That's blooming marvellous 😮👍🏻
Fantastic job. Such a cool build. The hidden fence post switch was genius. One step further would have been to make the two horizontal fence planks that connect to the switch post movable. Pivotable? Is that a word? lol My thinking is when the switch is upright, the horizontal planks remain how they are in the build. But when the switch is on, and the post is angled, the horizontal planks can be made to rest on the ground as if they actually fell off on that end, due to the post being ajar. If that makes sense. Either way, beautiful work as always!
great work to both you and to @ChickensTabletopCrafting!

Beautiful diorama! I really love the realistic groundwork you do, with shades and flocking.
I thoroughly appreciate how you expand our knowledge of the craftsmanship, and expand our base of knowledge by including others in the hobby. Inspiration, knowledge, and merriment!
Definitly my favourite one youve done to date. Its so simple (aside from the wiring) but so cool at the same time and really captures the magical essence of the scene
Ah nice a Trogdor diorama! Love it!!
I had a hard time accepting that a white dragon could breath fire...but then you made it green, too! Maybe as acid and ice meld they become fire. Jokes aside that's an excellent build. I loved the side story happening here too. Brings a lot of life
Looking at the thumbnail, I could not figure out how you made that dragon fly. About 4 mins in it was made clear, as well as my IQ. Great build as ever.
My 5yr old son and I watch a video of urs every night before he goes to bed. He loves watching you work and hearing the stories you tell. Every time we go to the hobby store and see figures like the ones you paint he asks me if it is one you did!! Excellent work sir and thank you for making these memories for me.
This is probably the best one I have seen yet...
oh man oh man this is SWEET 😮💨 i love the little fence post lever :) and the dragon is very handsome!!
I love your commentary! Also, I think it's great that you clean up your workstation every once in a while to keep things neat. Great video and great work!!
5:17 - amazing work on cleaning that cutting mat
The whole construction looked good from the start, but when you turned on the flames in the finished project I was dead in my tracks. Beautiful, just beautiful. But with these flames I fail to see the dragon having a hard time burning everything to ashes.
the diorama…the TAVERN & the fire breathing Dragon, the entire composition of all the pieces involved….this is another masterpiece! Amazing collaboration guys. 🤘🏻🤩🍻
You constantly out do yourself. Love watching you create. 🫡
You called it good... I called it friggin' amazing!!! This is one of your best ever!!!
NOT THE TAVERN!!! Lads, we’re having dragon steak tonight!!! Lol, awesome job!!! ❤️❤️❤️👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
The best scene yet, bravo
Amazing idea to suspend the dragon using a pipe through its own fire blast. When I saw the thumbnail I assumed the suspension just wasn’t visible through editing. How wrong I was. I never would have thought of this.
I could listen to this guy's voice narrate a Dungeons and Dragons campaign all evening. Its so relaxing to listen to instructions and story.😊
I am kind of at a loss for words. Truly amazing work!
It seems that with every new session, you try or learn a new way to refine your skills and it shows! This is awesome, from the flame to the terrain to the minis, everything is incredible! Keep it up and as always im lookin forward to the next one.
that IS SOOO incredible!! i love the fence post switch, but if you turned the switch around 180 degrees, it would be standing in the upright position when its on, and leaning when its off...
That switch is genius
Seriously perfect!❤❤❤ 🔥
That's fantastic! And the felting needle idea is brilliant. 👍
I've been watching your channel for a long time now and really enjoy what you do. for some reason, this one really resonates with me. I love it. Cracking work as always.
excellent! j'adore ton diorama, tu m'as inspiré pour un prochain roman. Merci, continue ton travail, c'est sublime.
This was absolutely fantastic. I really love hiding the switch with the fence post.
Epic! Hands down my favorite of all the dioramas you have done on here. That flame effect is stunning, and the story the whole scene tells is compelling.
THANK YOU for everything you do, and for setting the tavern diagonally to the base.
I love this piece. Dragons have always been a favorite creature of mine. The fire setup is very well thought out and executed.
wow this is amazingly done!
Absolutely stunning!
That's incredible. It looks like a still shot.
Your creations literally give me goosebumps. Thank you for sharing with us.
Master Piece of Work!!.
love the idea to put a secret switch!! you should always do it!
I've been watching your channel for quite some time now and it inspired me to get into my own crafting stuff (i still kinda suck and don't have much space for a setup but I've been 3d printing and painting. I know you like your western themes, but I would love to see you really do an underwater themed thing, ideally with resin. Your ability to create a story combined with your practical skills could be an awesome creation. I know you've made water based things before, like the watering hole from your western, but maybe a flooded swamp with dangers underneath or fantasy themed would be great.
i nver tire of your builds. Thanks for sharing.
Its beautiful stunning and amazing work ❤❤❤❤
I think that's the most realistic fire you've ever done. Amazing work. That would be displayed at the head of my collection.
holy wow!!! That dragon fire is so amazing. So was the whole process but that fire wow!!!
