G'day Ronny, That is a seriously great sounding Truck with that Supercharged LS & Auto, the camper is setup well for extended travel & just staying out there for as long as your beer hold's up. Also it's really great that you have had a couple of 4X4 Trucks on the channel now, because very few Aussie 4X4 channels show them, always preferring to stay with the little fella's. I think I will look into a setup like he has fitted with the lifting ram's it's a good idea & would be a bonus for Me & our Truck, We are still fitting our's out & hope to be finished early next year. Our truck is a HINO GT1J 4X4 & considerably larger than the Canter, I think Joe said the Canter weigh's in at 4 Ton unladen & 6 Ton loaded our Truck weigh's 9 Ton unladen & 14 Ton loaded, basically it's just the next size up in Trucks. Anyway Ronny thank's very much for adding 4X4 Truck's to the channel because we obviously pick up great ideas & suggestions just the same as every other 4 Wheeler. Safe Travel's Mate, Steve.

Hi cool Canter! For the hydraulic jacks do you know what bore and stroke was used on the cylinders? My FG is a old landscape truck with a dump box, so I'll be scrapping the box, but I can use the hydraulic pump and sump. I think this is brilliant, when my build is done I'll be in my mid-sixties and I've had back issues, so although I'm still adventurous, I'd rather not be slugging it when (not if) I get stuck. I already have 17,500lb rope winches for front and rear in my parts pile.

Sick truck, well done only neg is fuel range, but that could be easily increased, the wallet probably wouldn’t enjoy the fuel up for a long trip across the Canning Stock for instance, but would love to see this do the CS or Kimberley! really well done and impressive without being a glamping build, props to the dude. Canter was a very good truck stock as a truck and as a camper, it was popular esp in the 90s and 2000s for its ride loaded and unloaded stock, unlike Isuzu’s and others, which I have driven many, the Canter was exceptional in ride quality and reliability, the fact that the rear is still stock just highlights what a great rear it had, 14 years only front modified! Fantastic to see this build and done like this, some great innovations and ideas, def helps having the right friends to help too, something that is relatable in the car world of modding, it’s common and if ya don’t ya rarely see something like this without them, props, she was amazing to see on the Dunes in the intro, impressive and sounds freaking great too, one of the most enjoyable modified’s I have seen, cheers, “now get her into the outback” with “ Ronnie & Torbs on a tag along, that would be amazing🤙

Gday Ronnie and Jo love your piece on the cantar, i have recently purchased a single cab 2016 cantar fuso 4x4 6.5 tonne GVM. So i need not be said i am jealous as in regards to Jo. because i have just bought my fuso is basically stock. at the moment i really (although i would love it i don't have to $ to do the engine up grades). That said i would like to add some of the stuff you have added Jo. I don't know if this is the place to ask all the questions here or through. the questions i have are the following. 1- tyres i have looked at AAV super singles, reviews are great but quiet expensive do you have any other ideas? 2 - suspension, any thoughts on the what i should put in the front as far as shocks go 3 - on board compressor and tanks what service (mechanic, auto elec?) would i see. Any ideas on products? 4 - What type of hydrolics rams for my fuso to lift truck for tyre change etc. thanks guys look forward to hearing from you Tryg

But much cheaper, and simple. And registered as a "tractor" for tax reasons. Also in alot of farms, towing trailers is the most common job with a tractor.
