Ha! Apparently I said "Rockler" about a million times in the video. This was filmed over the course of three weeks instead of the usual one or two days which is why I kept repeating myself. Hope I'm not too annoying! 😁 Anyways, I'm super happy with the way this came out! Thanks for watching!

It's good to see someone as proficient as yourself get a bit nervous when taking a router to the top you spent so much time crafting...very human, which is good for a novice such as myself to see. Amazing bench! Thanks for the video and T-track ideas. This is very inspiring. One idea for the foam shadow boards in the drawer. Use two pieces of foam to get the thickness you want. Trace and cut out your tool profiles in the top one only. Then glue them together. The bottom looks nice when the tool is out of its spot.

At some point, you may want to consider putting a couple of intersections in the middle of the long runs along the length of the bench. That way if you already have a few things mounted in there but forgot to put something on the inside of the track, you don't have to pull 5 things out to put the one in the middle. It would give you more flexibility if you happened to flub the order of sliding things in.

Love it! Two suggestions: 1) Cut your floor outlet cover in half so the side not in use can close over the unused outlet. Keep the dust out. 2) Drill some horizontal dog holes in the side of your bench to clamp vertical pieces to the side of your bench.

You showcased all of those products in a way that made me want to get them (I won't, but I want to!!) while building a great workbench that any woodworker would be very proud to use. Just an idea. Maybe this idea is useful ?. Making a simple 2x3 T Track. The ends cut down to 1”. This would allow you to use the hammer style bench clamp to hold it in place. This would allow a t track clamp opposite of the one you built into the bench. This T track could be hung up vertically on the wall, or, if you make it the size of your clamp drawers, you could store it in there along with the other clamps.
