Maybe I missed it somewhere, but did you use spalted maple to make that bench top? Gorgeous.
Glad you had the sponsorship disclaimer at the beginning. I never would have realised otherwise. It all looks amazing.
A Rockler commercial...that I enjoyed watching! :-)
Ha! Apparently I said "Rockler" about a million times in the video. This was filmed over the course of three weeks instead of the usual one or two days which is why I kept repeating myself. Hope I'm not too annoying! 😁 Anyways, I'm super happy with the way this came out! Thanks for watching!

No shame in getting a sponsor, but this was a bit much. At a certain point, it begins to affect your credibility (perceived or not). I like the channel, but I think it's time for me to take a break.
Did somebody mention Rockler ?

AMAZING workbench Love the drawers open from both sides. Genius
Thanks for making these workbench videos. Seeing and hearing why you chose to do what you did is super helpful as I make choices for my future bench build.
Rockler wants all my money! The drawer opening both ways is genius and the benchtop is super versatile the way you did it. I'm actually looking at redoing all my benches in my new shop so I'll definitely be adding T-track in all of them. Thanks for the video!
"Hi, Rockler? Ya this is David. Can you send me one of everything? Great, thanks!" :D Gave me some good ideas for my bench.
That bench looks amazing with all those accessories . Good for you and looking forward to seeing you use it in upcoming videos.
For the record anything you received from Rockler at no charge you deserve. I’m glad to see you recognised for being the influencer that you are. I have enjoyed all of your videos and learned quite a bit as well as being inspired to go ahead and make something. Lol Thank you for what you do and I will be letting Rockler know why I’m ordering so much of their stuff when my son and I set up our new shop. I want them to know they did right by teaming up with you Cheers mate
This is awesome. I am thrilled now about adding a T Track system to both of my shop work benches. I saw your drawer construction, that looks very simple to make. Loads of storage.. that is the point of a work bench.
Saw that California Air Tools compressor... I ordered one... by far the best/most quiet compressor I have ever seen in my life. They are a life saver for your ears!

For real! Can't believe how quiet they are.
Very nice! Practical. I can't wait to see how you use it. Maybe you can do a video in 6 months to do a "lessons learned", things you like and things you'd change after using it for a while.

I wanna see that cause i would totally use the t track
Totally worth the wait! So many great ideas...a bench is next on my to-do list, so I'm glad I saw this while I'm in the planning stages. It's good to see someone as proficient as yourself get a bit nervous when taking a router to the top you spent so much time crafting...very human, which is good for a novice such as myself to see. Great vid! PS...somewhere in there, there are jokes for men of your and my age about vacuum pumps...I'm going to leave them to someone else...
I heard the angels singing when you opened that top clamp drawer 😍 looks great!

Amazing bench! Thanks for the video and T-track ideas. This is very inspiring. One idea for the foam shadow boards in the drawer. Use two pieces of foam to get the thickness you want. Trace and cut out your tool profiles in the top one only. Then glue them together. The bottom looks nice when the tool is out of its spot.
This is such an awesome workbench idea. Thank you so much for such a thorough walkthrough!
Been looking forward to this video for a while. Now I've got intense bench envy! Good stuff, man.
Love this! Im working on a mega large bench that doubles as garage storage. I aspire to make it even close to this nicely.
love all the accessories keep up the good work David!!!
Lots of good ideas here. Thanks for finishing your bench video series.
A ton of great ideas here! Nice to hear Eric at the end there. :) Thanks for sharing!
Awesome bench. Organization is the key to productivity. I am definitely taking ideas from your workbench and implementing it into mine!
I like the 4 different overhangs David.
Thanks man, it's great to see what you can do and I love the vacuum hold down. Awesome!
So I Rockler my Rockler over on the Rockler (which is the best that ever existed) and then I Rockler the Rockler Rockler on the Rockler with my Rockler which is the best that ever existed! Handle your bidness, bro. We ain't mad at you. You gottta do what you gotta do.
I'm glad I watched this video. I was thinking about making a bench with drawers, and these drawers that go straight through the bench are brilliant! I was going to make the bench with a concrete plywood top but I have to say this bench looks amazing. On to part 1 now.
That's just gorgeous. I came across your video looking for ideas for making a workbench for 3d printing. Gave me some great ideas. Thanks!
Love the track system David! The blue looks great in there too!
Your new shop looks great. And the bench - incredible!
Awesome bench brother! Good for you. I just turned 6 shades of green watching you.
I've been waiting for this video to come out. Nice to see it finally wrap up.
I think dog holes are the best type of accessory. To a workbench as they offer high levels of strength and there are just so many options available with them.
Can't thank you enough for this video! I've been looking at doing this exact same thing to my workbench but wasn't 100% sure. My workbench is set up in a way with drawers where I can't add vice clamps of any kind so I've been thinking about routing out grooves to fill with t-track and then go nuts with t-track accessories. Thanks, David!
Beautiful bench and a nice view of Rockler options.
Love the bench! Keep up the great content.
First, Check it! Great Rockler sponsorship, kudos. I like how you demonstrate how to use each part; that's very practical and I can definitely see how you'll enjoy all those bits and bobs in the future. I love the cherry drawer fronts - they look gorgeous, and being able to access them from the front and back is a great idea.
Awesome bench! Looks great and super functional, very well done. Enjoy it!
I love that blue anodized color on Rockler things. I like this bench!
The different overhangs make a ton of sense. Great bench!
Great Bench love all the rocker add-ons one day I will have some Thanks for sharing
Is an amazing workbench.... regards from Guayaquil, Ecuador...
At some point, you may want to consider putting a couple of intersections in the middle of the long runs along the length of the bench. That way if you already have a few things mounted in there but forgot to put something on the inside of the track, you don't have to pull 5 things out to put the one in the middle. It would give you more flexibility if you happened to flub the order of sliding things in.

Sean Necker , clearly you haven't played unblock me lol
Love it! Two suggestions: 1) Cut your floor outlet cover in half so the side not in use can close over the unused outlet. Keep the dust out. 2) Drill some horizontal dog holes in the side of your bench to clamp vertical pieces to the side of your bench.

Beautiful work bench!
Those t-tracks look so useful!
Awesome bench David! 👊 love the clamp drawers!👍
Nice bench. First time seeing one of your videos. Next time I'm going to take a drink every time you say "Rockler". 😏
This is a great design sir. I'm new to the game and have been looking for a modern twist to the assembly table. Thanks for the post.
I was waiting for a rockler sponsorship the whole video lol, great video, love the table.
Awesome job! thanks for sharing

Nice additions to the bench.
Such an awesome bench! Will definitely be inspiration for my new bench...if only we had Rockler in Canada, will have to visit when we're in the States this summer!
So cool to see holdfasts incorporated into this bench. I feared at the start that since you were going hi-tech/modernizing, you'd cast aside this medieval invention. A forged holdfast too--amazing. So awesome, awesome project. Thanks for uploading this.
Looks sweet, David. I love the veneer on the drawers 👍
Duuude this is the dream. Those Rockler gadgets are badass. Great work man.
Nice video... the Rockler insights were great!
I really enjoy your content. Thanks a lot for doing what you do!
Very nice looking bench. Looks pretty hefty as well.
Brilliant. Been waiting on this one.
This is the best advertisement for any product I can think I've ever seen, and I mean that in a good way! You showcased all of those products in a way that made me want to get them (I won't, but I want to!!) while building a great workbench that any woodworker would be very proud to use. Best of all you did it with good taste, it was entertaining and I feel I'm better off from watching this video. Not something I would want in all of your videos, but very appropriate for this one.

Sweet! A lot of cool ideas in there.
Kick ass bench, I love it!
Drawers are ingenious!
Hey David, nice Rockler commercial. Also I like the bench, especially the way you off-set the top and only T-track on one side.
Great work!! Well thought out
That is one dream bench. Very cool!
Fantastic workbench - Fantastic video!
Nothing beats hold fasts. I used them for welding and they are incredibly useful
This is one of the most satisfying videos ever. It's like a bug gorgeous puzzle
Yes, that bench is the bomb; Hands down Rockler accessory rock!
Great video with wonderful solutions
On my way to Rocler Woodworking store... Your're amazing!!!!
That isn't just modernization. It's a work of art.
Nice job! I was really hoping for plans to build this bench.

I have that compressor, love it!
Awesome job thanks
Love your shop.
I wish we had products like those rockler stuff in Europe for reasonable prices. Thats all pretty cool!
Wow ! How many toys ! James Bond's "Q" must be jealous ! Hehehe ! Also, the 2-sided drawers is a very good idea ! Thanks and excellent job, as always, Cheers !
Hi David great job on the work bench.
Just an idea. Maybe this idea is useful ?. Making a simple 2x3 T Track. The ends cut down to 1”. This would allow you to use the hammer style bench clamp to hold it in place. This would allow a t track clamp opposite of the one you built into the bench. This T track could be hung up vertically on the wall, or, if you make it the size of your clamp drawers, you could store it in there along with the other clamps.
about that huge clamps you can make a hole in the side (oposite of the mini clamps) and in the middle wall to put all huge clamps. Nice and beautiful workbench!
Sick build brother
Badass bench man! I'm going to have to add some T-Track in my bench.

@@woodworkerroyer8497 I'm glad you got some kind of sponsorship as I know tools/hardware can be expensive. I hope you get more so you can create & show us more of your creations! And I would kill to be sponsored by Rockler!
Thorough build!!!
Nice.heres my two cents, one per.1. A T track running vertically on leg opposite clamp to hold up long boards.2. Route finger pulls into those seeet drawers so pulls dont getcha and you dont have to push through for flush condition. I actually liked all the Rocker ads, i worked on me.
i love the sound when you slap the top solid
Nice bench! I would have put t-track in 360 to start. Rockler does have fantastic tools and accessories.
Love your design choices for desk and flush clamping options. Wish maple wasn't so damn expensive - next bench top I build will be SYP.
Coolest bench I've ever seen.
Great video here my friend! I will have to try that... if I ever have enough space to actually have a workbench! haha
