I will NEVER get sick of that Office scene.
Workbench getting sturdy fr 🕺

Soooo heavy now
That last part, "back atcha buddy" had me rolling 😂😂😂
Great stuff, Brad. You forgot one option for the top drawer front: use two pieces (as if you have two drawers, like below) of scrap with the grain running how you like. One big drawer that looks like two and you use two pulls.

I came here to suggest the same thing.

Great suggestion!
That dowel clamp hangar is a great idea. I've been thinking about attaching vertical storage to the side of a metal tool cabinet for my clamps, levels, and the pipes I use for torque multiplication. I'll definitely use dowels for my clamps. Such a simple and effective solution.

thanks!
Looks good but the one thing that you missed was the one attachment that I find most useful - a narrow tray that allows me to quickly grab a pencil (and, in my case, an eraser) without having to open any drawers.
as someone who is waching the office right now i love all the cips you added

As far as the edge banding goes - I have a future project where I will need to apply edge banding at a right angle like that. Your few seconds of video showed me exactly how to do that, which is something I wasn't sure of. So, the fact that you gave in and applied the edge banding not only means it won't bother you, but was also helpful to a random woodworking subscriber. Thank you!
So glad a few of KZread subs are scheduling video drops for Christmas! Thinking of hitting my shop to build something small today myself. Merry Christmas!
Neat project and entertaining video. For the top drawer, what about just a simple tray shelf that rolls from side to side, maybe with some kind of magnet stopper in the middle to nestle it back to center. Just spit ballin' in my head.
Love this video - super helpful for the bench I just built, had no idea what I was going to do down there beyond a slab of plywood on the base. This gave me lots of inspiration! Thanks!!!!
Nice addition. I recently added a boom arm to the back of my main bench for hose and cord control.
Love how this turned out. I need to enclose the base of my workbench so this gave me some great ideas......thanks for this and all your great video's. I watch every one! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family!!!
Came here for the workbench content, stayed for the Chuck cameo. As a fellow Vol, can you PLEASE make Chuck an Alabama fan?

I mean let's be real...could be any SEC team really, lol
New bench is looking great and I'm sure way more functional than the last one. Now you've got me thinking of ways to upscale my bench with drawers and more storage. Keep the inspirations coming. - Chris

Thanks, Chris!
Love the setup for the storage!!! Great video too! Thanks!
I love that work bench and all the draws! Thanks! Merry Christmas y'all!
Doing adjustments to my work bench as well. Thanks for some great ideas.
I had a slightly different take on the hose holder - I thought it looked just like one of those "cat's rear end" towel holders, and now I can't unsee that! Great solution though.
Another great video. Can’t wait to start building my own bench and storage.
Merry Christmas to you and your family Brad! (And I guess Chuck.... 😂)

Same to you! And Chuck says "back atcha"
Ha - your videos are always so excellent and instructive, but somehow they are getting even more entertaining with time. So glad to see your well-earned subscriber count continue to grow!
Love how you get excited when something works!
Great addition and lots of useful add-ons. Merry Christmas to you and yours
Nicely done Brad! Happy Holidays to you & your family! Be well... 👍👍🌲🌲
It’s a beautiful thing when everything is in reach. I can see why you have so many subscribers your just a pleasure to watch and chuck he’s a cool dude
If you are ever going to stack plywood like that, you can go ahead and have the CNC carve in dowel holes to align everything. Makes everything easier.
Chuck and Mountain Dew in a can in the first minute. Greatest Christmas ever! I'm still calling for a Mountain Dew sponsorship!

Clearly a cup holder mounted on the side of the workbench is needed!
You could do a pull out shelf, drawer without a face, put a lip around it so things don't slide off.
The comic relief on this one was on point. More chuck!
I like that, Brad. That’s great.
Merry Christmas Brad, to you and your family
So organized for the new year!
I expect the perfectionist in you to address those misaligned drawers. Good to see youtube "pros" mess up too.
Huge fan! Thanks for all the videos Brad! You inspired me to start my own channel.
I need to build something super similar for my outfeed table. Just not sure if I want drawers or just shelving. Like you, the perfectionist is hard to fight off.
Merry Christmas bro. Love your channel
I like your design, and your Craftsmanship! Well done!
Another great video. Well done. The drawer installation tip by flipping it on its side was nice. 👍
I really enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work.
This is a pretty good use of space. I like it.👍👍Thank you for sharing. Have a great day and stay safe.🙂🙂
Great project, great work bench and love to humor mixed in! I need to get down to the garage and do some projects. From JC, keep up the good work!
Merry Christmas to you and your family Brad.
Oh man I love these videos! (And I just realized you’re in Franklin. I’m right next door in Thompsons Station!) Great work as usual.
Great Christmas morning watch - I am in the middle of building my workbench and will no doubt grab (steal) some ideas 🙂..
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
Thanks for pointing out the flaw in the plywood. I couldn't stop looking at it and my OCD was kicking in.😅
Pretty nice my friend! Merry Christmas.
Good project
So freakin' hilarious!!! Well done video! And the information presented is stellar as usual! Cheers!
You have gonna be smiling for the perfect part. That's so true and Who can say it better👍😆
Merry Christmas Brad!!!!!
On my assembly table, I put a divider across in the middle with a drawer on the side of one end, and beneath it, I put a slide-out drawer in the end for my belt/disc combo sander with a curtain in front to keep most of the dust out. The side beneath the drawer and on the other end was boarded up, and has yet to see use. On the other end, I divided it in 2 lengthwise with 3 shelves with slightly raised front edges on one side for tool boxes, and on the other side, a drawer for gloves at the bottom with a shelf for random bigger parts above it. On the end, I mounted holders for spray cans at the bottom, and I plan to find some solution for holding speed squares and the like above them.
very good video as always...
Great video as always. Merry Christmas to you and yours... And Chuck LOL 🤣
Merry Christmas 🎄 and Go Vols! GB🍅!!
Another great project.
Looks great..!
I also did clamp storage at the end of my outfeed/assembly table. Now they are always at my fingertips when I need them.
it turned out excellent Brad! Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Thanks, Scott. Happy New Year!
Great video, as always
Before watching your version of this workbench conversion, I watched another KZreadr's version. In that version, he skipped an important step that, you did not skip. That step was test fitting the box under the workbench before proceeding with the rest of the build. He had to force fit the cabinet into the workbench, but, at the end of the build, it looked every bit as nice as yours does.
Brilliant, Brad! Fantastic work!!! 😃 But hey, when finishing parts that still need to be glued up later... Blue tape! And no guess work. 😉 Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊 Merry Christmas and happy new year!

OMG Brad, yes the second hose holder is more offensive! LOL!!!!! That was great dude.
Merry Christmas 🎄😀
02:30 lol @ looking at imperfection😂
Awesome job
For a perfectionist - how about two pieces for the top drawer. Kind of faux two drawers but actually pulls out as one? Could also then match the line going down between the other drawers.
I really like this bench Brad! Also the tip about the plywood wedge clamp is one I'll be using! Thanks

"Back acha buddy!" Lol merry xmas!
“Back at you buddy” 🤣🤣🤣
Glad I'm not the only one who trips over the sander hose
That's great, Brad. Of course, you had to get the "me" nails in there. It's good that you were able to somewhat overcome your ECD to finish this. You'll probably find Chuck sleeping on top of the bench now (lol). Merry Christmas. Bill
8:16 That is a brilliant way to store clamps!
Easel is somewhat limited CAD system, but that makes it very intuitive to learn. And it's free! Somewhere on a server farm, Easel is storing a petabyte of pipe-dreams for me; most of which will never be carved.
Great video!! Building my first "Forever Workbench" 🥰... ok yeah...I'm in love with my wood work...nevermind. Subscribed! 👍
Fun twist to this video. Thx for mixing it up.
The holder for the sander is going to put uneven pressure on the sanding pad, warping the pad over time, which will cause the sander to create swirls and sand things unevenly. Random orbit sanders should always be stored resting on a flat surface.
Loving the sick voice. Nice, deep, and slightly raspy! Lol Great end result as always!
The best christmas present

Merry Christmas! What is the storage you use for your nails?
I hang my bar claps using two uprights of angled slots that the clamp bar fit into. Can sent pics if you are interested.
Haha back atcha bud!
you inspire me to spend money i don't have to build things i don't need. pat yourself on the back my friend haha.
Two down at least ten to go, come on now, let’s build another. It did turn out great though. Workbench’s are so much fun to build, high return on the money too!
Go dang vols!!
