The part of the video showing the toml is cropped wrong, could you fix it to show the full screen? I cant see what line I'm supposed to type the mod name in

the mod name doesnt matter, just the folder path. yeah i screwed up on that crop job pretty bad sorry.

ok after getting mod engine 2 and setting that up to work with the DMC mod. it seemed like everything worked properly, but after trying load a devil hunter save or even trying to start a new game after picking the devil hunter class and starting the game proper, it crashes with no message or nothing. it just exits me out of the game. anyone have a fix to this?

i would check for recent updates for the mod, check and see what version its compatible, and see if steam lets you downgrade version for this game

In Cinders mod there's a setup field which described "The Mod Engine and Hoodie Patcher files needed to run Cinders" How should I do using the method you show us? Is it create a new folder something like "Cinders setup" and drag these setup field in the folder, enable "Cinders setup" in the toml and run the game?

i dont think you will be able to for cinders. its setup isnt really all contained in one you have the hodie piece and the cinders piece. you could try setting up files for both and loading that way, but odds are staying with mod engine 1 would be easiest

Hello so I basically have the settings as this I have enabled is true the name is default and the path = mod but I have my mod inside the mods folder and when I launch the game via the mod engine the mod isent working or giving me any indication of working

possibly at some point. i currently dont own dark souls remastered but if it comes up on a good sale i can see what i can do.

WELL GOOD TO KNOW THAT THE ORIGINAL MOD ENGINE NO LONGER WORKS! Thank you for making this vid man! I don't know how long I'd continue screaming at my Dark Souls copy if it weren't for you ;w; One question: Does it work with things like HornyKeeper? Would it work with the DS3 Mod that adds a new UGS the Holy King's Greatsword?

i did have some issues due to mod conflicts when i was using a 3 or 4 different berserk mods for the game. i ended up just finding the conflict and deleting that mod..... not exactly a great fix.

Thank you for the guide, but I'm having trouble with the Yorshka dragon stone mod. I try to enable it via Toml but it doesn't work. Could you perhaps give me a step guide regarding that?? Yorshka mod is a parts file mod, try to see how we could add such a mod in toml. If u could tell me which section to put it and how to type it in order to make it work, thank you.

when i search Yorshka dragon stone i find no mods so you would need to give more details. try checking out my elden ring videos for modding it. i cover mod engine two with loading multiple mods

@@couchcmd Greetings Couch Mod bear, thanks for the reply. I actually managed to fix the issue roughly 2 hours after I posted my question above. Yes there is in fact a skin mod that turns your character into Yorshka when using the Dragon stone, all I did was follow your instructions on this video, with the Toml part being the only unclear part because you probably accidently were zoomed in during recording. But after several trail and errors I managed to get it working. Thanks for your help.

Can you please show us how to install blackswordsman mod on darksouls 3 with the new modengine 2 please🙏 I've been at this for a week and I can't get to work.

odds are you will need to down patch the game to 15 or 14 to be able to get the mod to work.

do texture mods also work with this? or is it only like....idk, weapon mod stuff

textures will also work. if follows the same basic principles as mod engine.

i keep putting off playing this game again. i have had several people over the last few months tell me both options no longer work, but i havent really wanted to dig into it again. i may make a 2023 update in the next few weeks to confirm if there is an issue. im reluctant to do this normally because for every game that has actually needed a changed video there are two or three where the person complaining about it not working just skipped around and didnt actually follow my instructions and there was no issue

Hi, great vids, very helpful. I am wondering though i am trying to use 2 mods for DS 3 one uses dll and modengine the other uses a Data0.bdt file. Is it possible to get them both to work. I've tried playing around with chaining and changing usse mod override but the game wont launch. Honestly i am not sure if i messed it up or if its just impossible to get those different types of mods to work together. Any help or even closure would be greatly appreciated.

im not sure on the data0 piece. my assumption is its a file replacement type of mod in which case as long as the file path and file name are correct mod engine 2 should be able to replace it. for games that use mod engine i dont think you can run mod engine and mod engine 2. instead you would need to remove the items in the mod folders and set up your file to run them

when starting it through mod engine 2 if i have like cinders downloaded will i get banned or is it fine?

as long as you play offline you dont run the risk of getting banned

Hey, thanks for the guide. The DMC mod has been working well until its started to crash on the loading screen. I've been stuck trying to find solution to fix it yet it still crash. If you or anyone have any idea how to fix it, it would be greatly appreciated.

try removing and readding mod. check for more recent version of the mod. make sure you disable updates when modding to avoid mods from suddenly being unable to run

is there anything else typed in the toml that i have to put in? some of it is cut off i think

possibly. i think this is the video where i was a idiot and zoomed in the toml section preventing you from actually seeing what i was putting. you can check out my 3 ways to mod elden ring video and the format for mod engine two there is the exact same as the ds3 format

help with the toml, in the video its zoomed in so i cant actually see what your TOML looks like, the mod isnt loading becuase i dont know what to edit in the toml, help please

basically you need to point it the mod folder the mod will be in. for an actual good view because im dumb look at kzread.info/dash/bejne/lKN2sMqTqdPVlag.html. this is the one for elden ring but principal holds the same

try redownloading or getting a previous version. the dll is a libary needed for the software to run, but should have come with the download

you paste the pointer to where the mod is. i messed up the video where its half clipped when im creating the path. you can try watching mm more ways to mod eldin rings.

you can try, but mods that arent actively being updated may not be compatible with latest versions of the game.

the toml is just the where you point to your mod files so they load. if you have specific questions i can give more details
