hey dude, do cinders mod actually work for you, I have downloaded and installed everything has normal but the game is still on vanilla. any help?

@@superchargedsparks i just found the solution a pretty stupid one at that. all the files you get from the zip folder, copy and paste them onto the game, not like enter on said folder and copy the files, like the whole thing, shove it onto the ds3 main game file, and that is it.

i got it working just fine but all the icons for gauntlets and boots just have the chest armor icon so i can barely ever tell what im putting on, also, my inventory doesnt show any of my tools, i have to go through the equipment quick item selection. any idea if this is my fault or not?

First one is intended, there are a limited amount of icon slots available, doing that freed up a bunch for new content in future. Not too sure what you mean with the second thing though

7:10 im confused, how do i get the parts folder? each time i do this i cant get parts folder to show up?

i get an error when i try to launch the game saying i have an invalid version. :/

Hello, I have an issue. I did all the instructions correctly (normally...) and when I launch the game, to create a character, I do have all the classes but the new ones got the name : FDP_MenuText(numbers). So I think I did something wrong in the process but I can't find what is it... Can you help me ?

Ah right, that's not a bug, it was done to free up the limited amount of icons slots, given the confusion around it though it's getting reverted

I keep getting a run window then aftwerwards the came open then crashes immediately

I can't see where I messed up, I am also getting the same problem. FIX please.

When i do the MODELS file, it keeps saying that it failed. CRC failed : cinders/parts/am_m_9870.partsbnd.dcx What in the hell am i suppose to do now. 3 times it happened i cannot do that part. Please help!

hi friend, I was playing version 2.13 and I used the (cheat engine) to invoke some items and test some builds, because I play with my brother and then we go x1, when I realized there were some items that had moves that didn't do damage or it was buggy(Beast Claw) R1 is dagger, R2 axe, L1 ceastus, L2 rapier..... already formatted reinstall ido 0 and continuous bugao.. please let me know what I can do to get back to what was normal

Sounds like you don't have hoodiepatcher, or you didn't install hoodiepatcher right, or your visual c++ is out of date

@@GreatMightyp0 lol dude you are a hero, I don't like to ask for help without trying something first, so I did everything, deleted files and downloaded again, formatted the pc, lol who knew it was a C++ lol I even got to delete my saves from all my account kkkkk but thank you very much, I was going crazy with this.

@@Wird97 it’s not necessarily a requirement but there is a warning on the nexus page for cinders stating “You need to own both of the DLCs for Dark Souls III for Cinders to work correctly.” So you may have some issues.

Dude i installed it, but it keep crashing. However when i delete the modengine file it launch without any problem. Any help? (i set it to launch offline, and i have created a new character before installing the mod engine, not the cinders mod)

Nah, we never had one for github stuff, so figured it was a good time to make a new guide.

Why not just right click on the archives, go 7zip and "extract to..." instead of manually creating a new folder for each one?

Probably could have done it that way yeah, wanted to make sure people got the main and models merging thing right though

No, if you want to use texture changes put them in the right folder in the Cinders folder

I have downloaded all of the mod files and put them into the game files as shown, but my game boots up like normal, except for the connection to server is offline. Did I do something wrong? Do I need to enable anything in the modengine?

DS3 update broke modengine, you either need to downpatch your game or find an old exe

Fuck me. Nexus downloads at a snail pace, it wll take 8 hours for me to download the whole mod because they massively limit the download speed. Github is also no good cause it corrupts the file and makes it unusable
