The guy has a PhD in Philosophy I heard. That’s why he’s good at breaking down arguments.

Is Roger Gracie hidden under the table?
BJJ tends to take place in a range that is dangerous in MMA. A grappler in MMA needs to control distance much better than in sport BJJ. They can’t hang out in “no man’s land.”
GSP was the perfect all round martial artist. He was so strong in all areas. What sets him apart was his willingness to humble himself and train with the best grapplers in the world with Danaher’s gym. It led him to greatness.

except most jiu jitsu people are not like him, not humble at all, fake humility is a pandemic within the bjj community
Would love to hear him on wrestling vs bjj

He already did that
I love how even though Gordon is super cocky, he listens to John as if he knows nothing about JJ.
Holy lineup!!
John Danaher's IQ is like infinity. You know it's so funny that he wears rash guards like they're normal shirts. That's a very eccentric thing to do but like somebody like him with an IQ of infinity, they can't NOT be eccentric. All geniuses are.
One rule that stands out to me is the knees to the head in ONE championship. DJ got a dose of those and it was not pretty. Other than that, yeah, MMA is pretty much the same thing across the board.

If GSP is helping Gordon with his mma training. We might end up with the greatest fighter ever. Ultra G.O.A.T
You get punched in the face, and you are no Gordon Ryan anymore, you turn into a blue belt.
Grappling is essential to mma. MMA is not essential to grappling. MMA is superior to grappling.

Calling the Jiujitsu guy "the greater athlete" after explaining how much faster mma fighters are is Danaher's Jiujitsu bias coming through and making him say something wrong

That's not what he said was it? What I heard was that in MMA there's more of a puncher's chance, meaning on a given day, the lesser athlete could win. While in BJJ, the winner will almost always certainly be the best grappler.

@@wingoreviewsboxingandmma3667 I just watched it back. This is what he said: "Grappling will typically be won in a much higher percentage case by the more skilled and conditioned grappler, whereas there is much more of what they call a puncher's chance in mixed martial arts, where there's a much higher likelihood of a lesser athlete defeating a greater athlete in MMA than there is in grappling" Literally all he said was there's more of a puncher's chance in MMA than in grappling. There is nothing there about jiu jitsu being the greater athlete than MMA. Seems like you were the one who wasn't listening.
